The “BTS” painting breakdown is here! We’re zooming out, seeing things top down, and having Inception type levels of big picture thinking, ok?! 😂📸🎨

A photoshoot dedicated to my 2 passions; art & fashion. ✨ This collection encapsulates my artwork from the past 6 years and the outfits inspired by them. Thank you to the phenomenally talented, @mr2aesthetic for capturing these for me. 🩷

And this is only part 1! We still have more art & fits to go! Stay tuned ☺️ by @ccs.studio_

It’s this Libra’s birthday! ♎️🎂

I’m immensely grateful for all the love I’ve received for my art. It took so long to even call myself an “artist”, let alone sharing it for everyone to see. I’m sure I’m not alone in being one’s own worst critic 😂 as I step into this new year, I’m going to surrender to the process and letting my art continue to shine. Thanks to everyone who’s enjoying the journey with me.

Love,
Ciara🩷

Let’s get even deeper into the surreal, nonsensical fantasy that is “A Butterfly’s Dreamscape” 🙂‍↕️

My Lorax-esque tree and color outline!

Starting to play with the color palette 🎨

A ballon without pupils is kinda creepy but it had to be done y’all, I had a vision😂

Initial drawing on canvas 🤩

Things are starting to get filled in…

We’re getting somewhere…

What a difference a decade makes 😅

Painting and art in general has been embedded in my being my whole life and I’m so happy I get to share it with y’all. Bby Ciara would be so proud 🥹💖

This was part of a photoshoot for my photography class in high school where we had to dress up as something we loved and as you can see, I ran for all my art supplies 😂 by @ccs.studio_

“Lady Libra” (2022) Painting Breakdown:

✨Spark: I wanted to make a painting that represented a fundamental intersection of mine; a Black, Libra woman ♎️
💡Idea: how do I fully encompass the majestic beauty that is a Black, Libra woman?
🎨 Color Inspo: sage green (one of my fave colors) with pastels and metallic finishes
🖼️ Surreal Inspo: the Libra woman holding a scale trying to balance both the sun and moon and holding her own constellation in her other hand

I plan on making paintings of all of the signs! Next one on the list is Scorpio! 😈
