With recruitment right around the corner, meet Sarah, our Membership Recruitment Chair! Here are her words of advice for PNMs as they prepare for an exciting recruitment season!⋆˙⟡

“Hi everyone! My name is Sarah, and I am so excited to serve as Phi Sigma Sigma’s Recruitment Chair this year!

Going through recruitment can feel exciting, overwhelming, and a little nerve-racking all at the same time, but the most important thing to remember is to be yourself. This process is all about finding where you truly belong, so be confident, be kind, and let your true self shine. It is easy to feel like you have to say the “perfect” thing or find the “perfect” chapter, but the right place will love you for exactly who you are.

Phi Sigma Sigma has given me so much more than I ever expected. It has given me my best friends, the strongest support system, leadership opportunities, and a place where I feel loved, valued, and at home. Our sisterhood is filled with women who encourage each other, celebrate each other, show up for one another, and make every member feel like they belong.

Take each day as it comes, trust your gut, and enjoy every conversation. Recruitment is such a unique and unforgettable experience, and it can be the beginning of something so special. We are beyond excited to have you join us on this journey, and we cannot wait to meet you, get to know you, and see all the wonderful things you will bring to our sisterhood.
