Travel Update: Cuba 🇨🇺

There have been some significant changes affecting travel to Cuba.

Air Canada Vacations has postponed its planned return to Cuba and currently has no confirmed restart date. In addition, Sunwing Vacations Group (including Sunwing Vacations, WestJet Vacations, and WestJet Vacations Québec) has indefinitely suspended all Cuba operations.

Another important update for travellers: as of June 6, Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards are no longer being accepted in Cuba. Visitors will need to rely on cash (CAD, USD, or EUR) while travelling.

These changes continue to impact travel access and tourism in Cuba, making it more important than ever to stay informed before booking.
