We are immensely proud of our very own, Maria!!!!!

Alt text:
Campaign graphic introducing María Ale Fernández as a candidate for National Vice President of Programs. The design features a deep purple background with bold white text outlined in cyan and red reading “Congratulations” at the top. A bright red banner across the upper portion displays “María Ale Fernández.” Centered is a professional portrait of María Ale Fernández smiling, with long wavy blonde hair, wearing a black blazer over a white blouse. At the bottom, white text with cyan and red outlining reads “National VP of Programs” against a black background. The overall design uses a bold, high-contrast, campaign-style aesthetic with a slight 3D text effect. by @cdarecentered

College Dems on Capitol Hill!

Thank you to everyone who RSVP'd to our tour!

Alt text:
A promotional graphic titled “Bringing Members to the Center” in large red text, with the subtitle “Capitol Hill Tour Recap” in purple. The background is a faded overhead photo of several people standing in a circle, each extending a hand toward the center while holding a U.S. Capitol tour ticket, creating a star-like arrangement. The image emphasizes community, collaboration, and shared participation in a Capitol Hill experience. by @cdarecentered

A statement on love and positivity in this convention.

ATL TEXT: Statement from CDA Recentered

Convention is one of the only times all year that College Democrats from all over the country are in the same room. People come in from chapters with six members and chapters with six hundred. Some of them have been doing this for years, and some of them registered their first voter last month. That is a rare thing, and we want to treat it like one.

So before anything else, here is what we are committing to.

We are going to be kind. To every delegate, every candidate, and every chapter, on every slate. Negativity and bullying have no place at this convention. If you are in that room, you belong in that room, and you deserve to be treated like it.

We are all on the same team. Every person in this election is against MAGA. Every single one of us. We disagree about how to build this organization, what it should prioritize, and where it should put its energy. That disagreement is real, it is healthy, and it is the entire reason we hold a vote. But it is a disagreement between people who want the same thing. Nobody in that room is your enemy for seeing it differently than you do.

MAGA is the opponent. Not each other.
When College Democrats divides itself, it divides the Democratic Party. We cannot afford that. Not this year, not any year.

We do not want this election to leave anybody worse off. Whoever wins, we want every person to walk out of convention feeling more connected to this organization than when they walked in, not less. That is worth more than any one race on the ballot.

Be good to each other. Then go beat MAGA.
