It's only June and I’m so thankful that this summer has already been filled with opportunities that are shaping my babies in the best ways. ❤️Calynn has attended her very first collegiate dance camp hosted by the @spelman_college College danceline @mahoganynmotion while Cayden dove into his first drumline camp provided by the @atlantadrumacademy. Watching them explore their passions, build confidence, and learn from incredible mentors has made every early morning, long drive, and busy schedule completely worth it.I won’t lie… your girl is TIRED because it’s only one of me and two of them 😂 . But as a mom, these are the moments I've prayed for, the chance to expose my children to experiences that help them dream bigger than they did yesterday.Here’s to more growth, more memories, and more doors opening for both of you. Cayden and Calynn officially completed their freshman year with outstanding academic achievements and it has me bursting with pride! 🎉Cayden earned straight A’s all year long, maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA and Calynn finished her 9th-grade year with a A average GPA as well by earning all A’s and just one B because she received a 103 grade average for her AP Human Anatomy class!!!!Their dedication, perseverance, and hard work continue to amaze me.Freshman year is officially in the books, and I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate these two incredible young people. Mother’s Day weekend looked a little different this year… and honestly, it was everything. 💙 From watching my son Cayden and his best friend help me set up for a work event without hesitation, to cheering together at our very first Atlanta United game. These are the moments that remind me why I work so hard.Seeing him grow into a thoughtful, dependable, kind young man while still making time to create memories with me is a blessing I’ll never take for granted. The laughs, the teamwork, the soccer chants, the random moments in between are core memories for sure. One thing about being a mom, is the older they get, the more you realize the little moments become the big ones. Freshman year… and somehow my babies already look like they belong on the big stage. 🥹🎶✨From Cayden shining in his Solo chorus performance that gave me chills to band concerts that had me holding back tears…watching Cayden and Calynn grow into their gifts this year has been one of the sweetest seasons of motherhood.The late nights, early mornings, practices, performances, AP classes, drumline, danceline, and all the moments in between… they handled freshman year with grace, discipline, and excellence.And me? Last Friday was nothing short of extraordinary!I had the absolute pleasure of serving on the planning committee for our Kicks & Couture fundraiser with my new chapter North Suburban Atlanta Chapter of Jack & Jill as a transfer mom and what a night it was. Surrounded by a powerhouse of phenomenal mothers, we turned vision into impact and style into purpose.Collectively, the chapter raised just over $100,000 in support of our benefactors: COR, The Jack and Jill Foundation, and JJ Swims,Together, a true testament to what happens when passion, community, and intention align. This wasn’t just a celebration… it was a movement. A night where every step, every detail, and every moment contributed to something bigger than ourselves.Grateful. Inspired.
