We welcomed Next Generation Leaders from Philippines this tuesday at CDL Ecotrain! 💗🌳🇵🇭They were here to learn case studies of environmental initiatives used overseas that can be brought back home. The group travelled with various ages from teachers, university students to young kids. We were very honoured to see how many of them view EcoTrain as an inspirational project to help educate and bring focus to the environmental issues of the world. It is not often a train cabin is repurposed into a climate eco-education hub!After exploring around EcoTrain, we brought them to visit the CDL MicroForest and gave them a tour. We had a blast teaching them the names of the plants and insects that thrived in it. The experience allowed them to feel the temperature difference within this microforest and how it can help with cooling surroundings while providing a buffer for animals to coexist within urban landscapes.We only have one world. We need to learn, cherish and protect our earth. After all, we are all connected!!!#cdlecotrain #justkeepthinkingsg #cdlsustainability #leadersoftomorrow by @cdlecotrain
