Here's another set from the archives. I reached out to the universe to work with a male model as I needed to update my portfolio, and in walks this young brother with swagger, style and grace and made the shoot all his own. Чем больше мы осознаём и видим свою теневую часть, тем более целостными мы становимся.

У всего в мире есть тень. Она есть и у личности человека. Карл Юнг описывал Персону и Тень как части нашей личности.

🌔 Персона — это та часть, которую мы предъявляем миру. Обычно она состоит из качеств, которые одобряются обществом и нашей семьёй.

🌒 А Тень — это то, что не было принято, откололось и поэтому оказалось спрятано от нас самих. Часто мы особенно хорошо видим эти качества в других людях — и яростно отрицаем их в себе.

Часть меня вытеснена: я не могу ею пользоваться, но хорошо вижу её в другом человеке. Хочется вернуть её себе, чтобы стать целостнее, но как будто не получается — и возникает такой цикл. 🔁

Как можно заметить свою тень?

I've always had fun when working in studio on a good project. some time ago I worked with a young entrepreneur (@livinlavishlani) and he had a vision that he came to me with and he brought some great people with him one of whom was @yunggmamii who had an firm professional ethic that I enjoyed working with.

Sometimes you come across an older shoot and after a second look you see something different. Maybe the pose hits different, maybe the background shows a different hue. Regardless, i'm glad I've had the privilege of working with some of the best models in the business at an early stage in my career. Working with @sudnevskaya at #SLICWorkshops some time ago made me appreciate how the right talent can help bring out a shooters greater creativity. Much apprecation to her and to all the other shooters out there.
