A huge milestone for my baby girl today. She moved out on her own - not easy these days!

I bought this rocking chair second hand before she was born and I rocked her in my arms in it. The stuffies represent the times she’s visited kids she nannied in Ottawa from 2020 - 2022. A true full circle moment. So happy for you!! Love you always and forever no matter what! ♾️🩷♾️🩷 by @cdporter2014

Today was a day filled with so much joy, deep conversations and laughter. I had the privilege of playing tour guide to two friends from Indiana who came to Halifax on a cruise ship. I met Julie in 2021 through a zoom group which continued with five amazing women from Canada and the US. We formed a bond that transcended geography. I met her in person for the first time today and that bond was indelible! I also met her friend Jen who is now a new bestie! What a perfect day in so many ways!! Bahamas Day 2 - I didn’t take many pictures because we literally sat on the beach, swam and snorkeled, most of the day. Had dinner at the Grill Master on Arawak Cay aka Fish Fry district. We had the grouper and it was delicious! They didn’t have rice and peas but the owner said he’d get me some and he did! We sat on the one picnic table in front of his restaurant and people watched. A specialty drink here is Sky Water - coconut water, sweet cream and gin! It too was delicious. A great experience all around. by @cdporter2014
