POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Some journeys begin with a vision. Others begin with a refusal to accept limitations.

CDREYWORLD was built on the belief that art, fashion, and culture can create opportunities, tell stories, and inspire change.

Today, that belief has earned global recognition.

@globalleadersinstitute Honored to be named an Official Nominee for the 2026 Global Arts Prize for Innovation.

This recognition belongs to every artist, creative, collector, collaborator, and supporter who has been part of this journey.

Tittle: SHARED IDENTITY I
(A land where miracles come in twos Series)
Medium: Acrylics on canvas
Size: 48 x 60 inches
Year: 2025

The painting is a heartfelt tribute to my rich heritage. I hail from Igbo-Ora, Oyo State, Nigeria - famously known as the ‘Twin Capital of the World’. With a twin birth rate of 158 per 1,000, it’s a staggering contrast to Europe’s 5 per 1,000. This legacy is personal - my great grandfather, Kehinde, was a twin, and my aunt also gave birth to twins. In Yoruba culture, twins are cherished as special blessings, bringing happiness and prosperity. They’re traditionally named Taiwo or Kehinde, signifying birth order.

Through this painting, I aim to preserve and share the unique cultural significance of twins in Yoruba tradition, celebrating my heritage and the beauty of our customs.

Original Artwork | Wooden Floated/unframed 🖼️
Investment pieces available for homes, offices, hotels, & luxury interiors.
