Hey y'all, I want to talk about a very special woman... Betty Jean Seals, my Mom.

How about a round of applause…My beautiful mom took her final curtain call this morning. Here on earth, the show has ended, but for her, the show in heaven is just beginning.

My mom was shy, funny, and still wonderfully green about so many things. She was a GOOD person. She had been sick for quite some time, so while her passing was expected, today is not easy. My heart is full, and my emotions are all over the place.

I've spent the day looking through pictures and found myself laughing because there were very few pictures of just her. Most of the photos were of my mom and my dad, who is now waiting for her in Heaven. My story, along with Greg and Val (my siblings) began with Herman and Betty Seals, and that's why so many of her pictures include the only man she ever loved.

They met in high school, fell in love, and built a life together for the 5 Seals Family.

This year would have marked their 65th wedding anniversary here on earth. It brings me comfort and joy knowing they will celebrate it together in heaven once again.

Rest well, Mom. You are home now.

I will miss you more than words can say, but I find peace knowing that I will see you again one day (Tho, I pray no time soon). Until then, thank you for your love, your laughter, your strength, and my beautiful life you helped create.

God has welcomed home another treasure.

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Daddy!

I and so many of us miss your style, conversations, jokes, and dancing. Your cool presence was like no other. Everyone stopped when you entered the room you so elegantly commanded without an ask. You were admired and someone to be around.

Today is #60. No make-up, no hair combing, no bra amongst some of the 'no's'. This is me, Herman and Betty Seals' daughter; est. June 17, 1964, Long Beach California.

I feel blessed. I'm grateful for my husband, kids , grandkids, and all of my family and friends! Thank you all for the birthday wishes via text, Facebook, and phone calls, and I especially loved the singing from my bestie @_bijoublu, niece @sutton_boone, and sister in law @tlsutton2, it was great!
