Grief brought me here. The ocean held me. My friends steadied me.
Healing is a journey. For me, it’s been floating in the water, seeking a little adventure, and letting nature do the rest.

My mom was pure warmth, strength, and love, pouring her heart into her family, faith, community, and everything she touched. She shaped the woman I am today through unconditional love and constant support, never asking me to be anything other than myself. She will always be remembered for her smile, her selflessness, her food, and the light she radiated. I’ll miss her endlessly - in the milestones ahead and in the small moments…like draping my saris, calling me her Kano, her cheesy jokes, and coming home to my favorite meals.
Mom, I love you so much. Forever and always.

The internet says having a boyfriend is embarrassing, but adopting a rescue? Never.
