Warrumbungle National Park, Feb 11. Breadknife and Grand High Tops

Hi ma - So Yep, I’m still back here (but I’m on a train from Lecce-Bari, Italy so I have time to play catch up). Warrumbungle National Park has the darkest skies and brightest stars in Australia. Their magpies sound different here. It’s North of Dubbo further inland than Tamworth, central northern NSW. 3 days out camping, climbing hiking around this gorgeous country. Although it was 40• with no water sources so I was strugggggling. On the last day I was lucky enough to run into 2 off-duty rangers accessing the lil hybrid bouldering traverse section behind this hike path. my luck, they invited me in and spotted for me ❤️. They also let me know I was the only registor to that part of the national park the duration of my stay and had the park all to myself - apart from them of course - How peaceful and surreallll - I cryyyyy 😭🌳💚One of the best multi levelled hiking area I’ve done in australia, highly recommend. taken in Warrumbungle National Park by @cdubbleewe
