Over 40 students participated in the first session of dodgeball this fall at @cloverridgeelem ! On the last day, they got to invite their families for a parents vs students dodgeball showdown. Congratulations, students, for bringing home the trophy🏆 #CE4ALL #ECCS #CommunityEducation by @ce4all

It’s the perfect fall week to host a Middle School Cross Country meet! Yesterday, students from ECCS and neighboring districts gathered at Lake Ann Park to run the 1.5-mile course and were cheered on by families and teammates. Thank you to all who participated, and a special thank you to our staff and volunteers for organizing and running the event. #CE4ALL #ECCS #CommunityEducation by @ce4all

Students in Middle School Archery Club have been busy learning proper shooting techniques and practicing safety this fall at Pioneer Ridge. They are becoming true archery experts!

This week, Superintendent Dr. Rathke joined them for some fun archery challenges. We love seeing students progress through our programs and develop skills that can last a lifetime. #CE4ALL #ECCS #CommunityEducation by @ce4all

Lots of smiles (and a few grass stains) with @tchappyfeetsoccer

This program focuses on building on existing skills for 5-8yr-olds with a focus on speed, repetition, and confidence on the ball. Students also have fun applying their skills in small-sided games and get a chance to try out all aspects of the sport.

Our middle school volleyball teams played their first home games of the season last week!

Open to students in grades 6-8, the program gives students the opportunity to learn the game, build skills, and compete each week with surrounding schools.

Bravo to our Early Education team for presenting at last night’s School Board work session! 👏

Through StormHawks Preschool, our youngest learners build the early literacy skills that prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. At the end of last school year:
📚 89% of 4-year-olds met or exceeded age expectations for expressive vocabulary.
📖 91% met or exceeded age expectations for emergent reading skills.

This year, we’re building on that success by launching SEEDS of Learning, an evidence-based framework focused on language, literacy, and social-emotional growth. We’re also partnering with Early Learning Corps to bring AmeriCorps tutors into preschool classrooms for targeted literacy and math support.

Kudos to our Early Education staff for creating a strong start for our youngest learners!
