Skyler Greene, for the last weeks , I’ve been trying to find the words to describe the kind of man you were, but the truth is, words will never be enough. Many people will never truly understand the impact you had on those fortunate enough to know you. It was a privilege to know you and an honor to call you my best friend. I’m still trying to process the fact that you’re really gone. I keep expecting a call from you saying you’re back from drill and asking if I want to go do something. Skyler, you changed my perspective on life. So much of who I am today, my character, my mindset, and the way I see the world is because of you. I owe so much of that to you.I’ll look for you in everything I do every hike I take, every back road I drive while singing Zach Bryan, every sunset, and every quiet moment. I know you’re no longer here with us, but I am hopeful you visit me in my dreams, linger in the conversations we all share about you. Every chance I get, I’ll tell the world about you.
