Took a quick train ride up to 42nd Street to see the Maximo Colon "Festejo" exhibit.

The exhibition features Colón's historical black-and-white analog photographs captured between the 1970s and the early 2000s. The collection highlights a joyous exploration of Puerto Rican and Latinx culture, documenting how New Yorkers transform public spaces into vibrant avenues of expression through community gatherings, music, dance, and parades.

Love, Love, Love it! 🔥🔥🔥

A beautiful night of rhythm, movement, and community at the Pilón & Clave Workshop!

Huge thanks to the New York Latino Collective ( NY LC ) and the Staten Island Urban Center for bringing everyone together.
We had a fantastic evening diving deep into the culture:

Salsa Basics: Our first instructor had everyone up and moving, breaking down fundamental salsa steps on the dance floor!

Afro-Caribbean Roots & Bomba: A special shutout to our second instructor, who led an incredible Bomba session. She gave us a powerful, enlightening look into the deep African roots of the dance and tradition—such an amazing learning experience! I didn't want it to end. 🪘

Food & Vibes: Between the live rhythms spun by DJ Ravage Will and the connection over food and culture, the energy in the room was wonderful.

Check out a few moments I captured from the night! 📸👇

Legacy isn’t just about what we achieve; it’s about what we pass down.

Looking at the next generation, the mission is clear: instill these values of pride, service, and culture in our children so they carry the torch forward.

Behind every historic win is the city that lived every single play.

I spent yesterday capturing the real heart of the Knicks parade—not just the floats or the ticker tape, but the people who make New York, New York. The families who have passed this fandom down for generations, the pure energy on the blacktop, and the undeniable love vibrating through every block.

Players win championships, but this city? We win on culture, loyalty, and soul. Thank you, NYC, for showing up, showing out, and letting me capture your magic.

The proud men and women of NYC were out in force for the National Puerto Rican Day Parade! Taking this moment to thank them for their service. by @ce_pro_photos

Woke up still hearing the drums and the cheering! Spent yesterday capturing the absolute magic of the 69th Annual National Puerto Rican Day Parade, and the energy on Fifth Avenue high... an endless sea of red, white, and blue.

But let’s be honest, New York City hits different right now. Between the incredible cultural pride at the parade and the city completely exploding with joy after the Knicks finally secured the chip Saturday night - ending that 53-year wait - the vibes in the city are at an all-time high.

Everyone was smiling, everyone was celebrating, and the collective joy was infectious. Swipe through to check out some of my favorite shots from an epic day in NYC!
