Bee a good Bee neighbour.

There are over 300 species of bees here in Saskatchewan! Unlike our honey bees, these locals are solitary. They don't live in big wooden hives; they find shelter in the ground or tucked away in old wood. They don't make honey, but they are the master pollinators of our wild crocuses, lilies and native prairie flowers.

Our Honey Bees are more like "livestock"—social, living in big bustling hives, and working together to produce that yummy golden honey you love.

How you can help both:
Want to support the whole squad? Hold off on mowing the lawn this May! 🚜🛑

I've knocked on my hives a few times this winter and spring in hopes of hearing a reassuring angry buzz back. Which I did! So I knew they were alive. I opened the hives for a peek and a treat this morning and I'm happy to report that they all made it! I've got a lot of honey left, and I'm having a beautiful tea with some now. Day 4 @davidlarsen932 and I rented some bikes to get around. It was so much fun! And terrifying! (So not many pictures of us riding.)
David booked us a tour at the Louvre, which helped us avoid the lineup at the main entrance. The tour was totally worth it and I learned a lot! We eventually got tired tho! It's toooo big! We'll have to come back another time. 😍 Find David in the 8th pic. 😊

Day 3 (1/2) - We took the train to the Palace of Versailles. It was a surprisingly short trip.
I took pictures of the line we were in while waiting to go in, but the length just wasn't comprehensible in photos - and we did buy timed entrance tickets beforehand. I don't know how many thousands of people they herd through there everyday! Versailles was an impressive and astonishing... yet terrible experience. It's done, we did it, never again. And it was pouring out! So we didn't get to see much of the grounds...but we did see some. taken in Palace of Versailles by @ceabog

Day 3 - 2/2 : lol -😂 This is a really nice picture of David and I but when I resize it to fit - the other pictures change too...so here is 1/2 our happy faces.
We are so happy to be out of the palace!
Outside of the Palace is great! The town is beautiful! We found a quiet restaurant on the grounds to recover from the intense tour of the palace. (I'm sure it's a zoo in all other seasons. - Lucky us!)
