How SAHM UGC creators do it with so little time to spare, I have no idea cause this is certainly taking more time than my baby’s nap time. But we have 2 UGC contracts signed this month and and another coming up next month and we’re making sure to get the best quality content possible to these brands💪 which means Social Media content sometimes takes a back seat🤷🏽‍♀️

This is something I’ve been reminding myself of. As long as I don’t give up I haven’t failed.

There have been a few things coming in between me and my 5:30AM mornings: late nights, excuses early in the morning, etc. And it’s a little discouraging to look at this habit I worked so hard to build and realize that it’s not a stone firm habit yet. But, instead of rolling over and whining about why it’s not working, I’m just going to go back to exactly what WAS working. Which is, intentional evening routines, accountability, putting my phone somewhere I will be forced to get up. Because as long as I don’t quit I haven’t failed.

Same can be said about my UGC journey. There are some things that are progressing so smoothly, and then others that are not. But as long as I don’t give up, I haven’t failed.

I hope this encourages you. Whatever feels like walking through mud in your life, whether that be a habit, a business, a relationship. As long as you don’t quit, you haven’t failed.

1. Drinking more water
Because apparently, running on coffee and forgetting to drink water is not a sustainable business strategy. 😂 Less headaches, more energy, and a better chance of actually functioning. Taking care of your body IS taking care of your business because your business can’t run without YOUR BRAIN (not at least when you’re just starting…)

2. Reading the Word
I don’t want to build a business that costs me my peace or pulls me away from God. True wisdom comes from Him, and I want my creativity, decisions, and goals to be rooted in that. Plus, He gives me a peace that passes understanding and I quite literally cannot be creative when I’m not peaceful✌️

3. Waking up at 5:30 AM
I’m learning that sometimes, the best thing I can do for my business is create space for myself before the day gets busy. Time to think, learn, pray, and work toward my goals without constantly feeling pulled in a million directions.

Because building a business isn’t just about building better business habits. It’s about becoming a better steward of the time, energy, and opportunities I’ve been given. We’re building the business AND the person behind it.

Just a few tips that have saved me so much time as a busy mom. Hope this helps!
Comment “marinate” if you like to leave your dishes in the sink for 3-5 business days before dealing with them. Comment “clean” if you clean them up right away! Let’s see what the majority ends up being!

Reminding myself as much as anyone🤷🏽‍♀️

The last couple of days have been anxious ones for me. And I’m learning to recognize anxiety for what it is: a warning bell saying to cast my cares on Him. Nothing more. It has no power over me; it’s just a warning to let me know I’m trying to do things in my own strength and I need to let Him be my strength, my creativity, my wisdom, my guidance. This verse (Gal. 5:22-23) has been such an anthem in my life. If the spirit lives in me and the fruit of the spirit is peace, then why am I feeling anxiety? Because I’ve let myself stray from his presence. And that’s good news because it’s such an easy fix - just get back into his presence! Hope this encourages someone❤️

Spend a Tuesday with me. Filming these makes me realize how much I actually get done in a day. Sometimes it feels like I get nothing done all day while attending to a toddler (which is my dream, don’t get me wrong), but paying attention to all the little things is helpful in reminding me that I am actually doing ok.
