Is not the flame eternal
Where two forever meet
Far flung polarities returning
To spark in union
Fabricating the now
The meaning of this moment
Always was and will be
We it's tourist minded children
Flopping on the lawn of perfect support
And exacting challenges aimed towards
Our growth

Is not the flame eternal
No matter the floundering corruption
Of some men
And their every attempt to supplant a bogus religion in its altar
And after which, having removed the flame, it's light and warmth, from a people's center.
And having thus made those people cold and stumbling in the dark, knowing not from where they came or where to go.
They are to varying degrees enslaved.

Still the flame is no less bright
Consuming the world and birthing it anew
Joyous, wise, beautiful and true
The only power
The only God, which like the thread of the fabric that makes a man, and makes a woman.
The only God, which is those people and the love they feel and infinitely more at once
This God, that I am, that I love,
that I stand in reverant gratitude for the awakening, the warmth,
the sunrise of my enlightenment.
Banishing to forgiveness the shadows, the shivering bad dreams of ignorance.

This God,
That those who fret to name
Can never contain
That is not in another heaven
Somewhere else

This God that is the flame
In the lamp
