Throwback to the rainiest wedding I’ve shot in 10 years.. the stormy day I forgot a jacket, rain covers for my equipment, and a change of clothes.

Shooting the ceremony in rain was cold and a bit challenging without my rain gear, but embracing the situation let me capture raw emotions and special moments we wouldn’t have seen on a clear day. One particular moment that will live rent free in my head is when Mallorie and Ryan locked eyes from across the aisle, with Ryan holding their adorable baby daughter. It was truly so heartwarming and brought tears to my eyes, (scroll to see the photos for yourself🤍).

Was it worth getting soaking wet in the rain? 100%.

This rainy day reminded me that no matter the weather, it can’t dampen the happiness of a wedding when it’s fully embraced. Mallorie and Ryan’s positivity, along with the love of their guests, made every beautifully soaked moment truly unforgettable. In the end we got the most beautiful moody photos that feel cinematic and magical.

On the summer solstice, the most emotional and endearing first look unfolded on a quiet, sun-dappled trail. Capturing this first look felt truly magical and unforgettable, filled with happy tears, gasps, warm smiles, and a deep sense of connection between K&C. I cannot wait to share more from their day.

So how’s post show going?

I’m back on plan this week which feels so good, my hormones are all over the place but I have great coaches who check in with me and keep me accountable. Body dysmorphia is so wild post show. Grateful for my husband reminding me these feelings will pass. I love being back in the gym and lifting waaay heavier again! The gym has always been a happy place for me.

I’m taking some much needed family time and stepping away from social media. My son is approaching his first birthday and my wonderful husband has planned some fun family trips.

Grateful to everyone who has supported me on this journey and all the wonderful friends I have made along the way, my life so so rich and my heart is so full.
I remember praying to God and telling him I couldn’t do this alone but needed people who cared about me in my corner and he delivered. I have a great group of gym girlfriends I see weekly, friends who check in on me daily, supportive and attentive coaches, and an off season plan that pushes me to grow.

To anyone out there who thinks they can’t do hard things, you can. If God is with you, who can stand against you?

Orange and purple. 🧡💜 Not just beautiful together, but deeply personal.
