Do I really need to announce anything? Absolutely not, but here we are.

I've been going through big personal awakenings, you could say since sometime last year. IYKYK. I've never really had any "skin" in the game that mattered until I had my children. It's crazy to me that my children made me pay more ATTENTION to all that I consume, support, whatever.

I'm finding my way still and looking for people who can relate so I don't feel so alone. What I do know is this, I'm committed to being the best possible version of myself for myself first and foremost and then my girls. I need to be right with myself so I can raise them to be their most badass selves.

UNLEARNING/RELEARNING is not easy.
DOING THE WORK is not easy.
BEING HUMAN is not easy.

Who knows if I'll post to my feed again, but I felt like it needed a burst of newness. Welcome to whatever this is, and I'll see you in my stories. ✌🏾☮️

Mom guilt is real 🫠.

We all get it from time to time and it always seems to rear it’s head when as moms we want to do things for ourselves. Like ya know going somewhere to be with adult females friends without our mini humans attached to us at the hip. 😵‍💫

For me it’s a rare thing that I get to have the time away in the evening time with female friends—- although I admit I am getting better at it. (Having a toddler sleep through the night finally def helps with that 🙏) new goal of mine for this year.

More nights out with friends. (I think if I say it out loud it will happen more right?)

So when I get to have a fun night out with friends testing out the new @weareohho 🌱🍊 Seltzer’s I jump at it.

And let me tell you we didn’t stop laughing for like an hour. Giggling at a speaker and art in a museum is how i wanna be at this stage of my life. 🫶

So safe to say any lingering mom guilt I had about taking a night out with some female friends was obliterated by these fun relaxing buzzy drinks. 🤘

And the best part after 90 min I was back to myself and ready to drive home to put my mom hat back on.

What a freaking win. All around.
