Still can’t believe last week! 🎭✨

I had the immense honor of being a finalist (and the only woman in the final at that💃) in the Wagner Stimmen competition in Bayreuth!

Singing Erda and Waltraute accompanied by the extraordinary Bayreuth Festival Orchestra in Wagner’s own town is an experience I will never forget🎶

A heartfelt thank you to the jury led by Katharina Wagner, conductor Axel Kober, and every musician in the orchestra for your incredible artistry and support. And huge congratulations to my wonderful co-finalists—it was a true joy sharing the stage with you all! 🥂

I am filled with so much joy and inspiration after being awarded the 3rd prize at the @elizabethconnellprize in London last week!! 🎉🙏. It was a super intense and challenging few days, but also such a wonderfull experience ! , Thank you to my gorgeous fellow competitors, the generous jury for advising and believing in me, to the Elizabeth Connell foundation for continuing to support young dramatic voices and not least to the incredible @florent.mourier.piano for his inspiring artistry and collaborative music-making!

Da er det veldig hyggelig å dele at jeg skal hjem til høsten for intet mindre enn å få gjøre min debut på operaen i Oslo! After Sundays premiere of our wonderful Nozze di Figaro at @kglteater we are already getting ready for show nr 2! It’s been lovely getting to hear how much joy this production is bringing people🥰

Im still amazed and so grateful after an incredible week at the Bayreuth Festspiele Meisterkurs, this year led by the legendary Waltraud Meier. There I, alongside 3 amazing colleagues and the most experienced pianist, got to work on scenes from Wagners masterpieces Tristan und Isolde, Das Rheingold, and Die Walküre where I did the parts of Brangäne and Fricka. Being in Bayreuth and at the end of the week getting to perform in Wagners very own living room, accompanied by his personal piano gives you a sensation that you are really at the source!

Also working with Waltraud Meier who I have always adored as a true acting singer was incredibly inspiring. Her eternal search for truth was clearly expressed as one of the things she most often said was “I do not want to be impressed, I want to believe you!” taken in Bayreuther Festspiele - Bayreuth Festival by @ceciliatomter

What a hard and challenging but rewarding process this has been! Beautifully led by the wonderful Noa Naamat and Karolina Halbig, and with the the best and most supportive colleagues one could ask for, this production I will never forget!

What a weekend it was! Still reeling from the joy of singing with my wonderfull colleagues at the opera academy and the lovely kons orchestra, led with an inspiring and passionate hand by fantastic @danielamusca_conductor ! Thank you all for the memories😊
