🍁 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗺𝗻 𝗯𝗌𝗌𝗞𝘀 𝗌𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗯𝘆 𝗧𝗕𝗥 🍁 I’m terrible at being a «season» reader, and its something I want to change. I often see people posting and talking about summer reads, fall reads and Christmas reads, those being the big three. Since my physical library is quite limited and I’m currently in a slow reading phase when it comes to «eyeball reading», I decided to use books that are on my Libby tbr. A lot of these will be audiobooks, tho I do know that four of these will not be. 𝘜𝙀𝙀𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙀𝙛 𝙖 𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙚 𝙀𝙧 𝙙𝙪𝙀𝙡𝙀𝙜𝙮 🍁 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗌𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝗻 𝗕𝗌𝗌𝗞 𝗊𝘁𝗌𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗚𝗶𝗹𝗺𝗌𝗿𝗲 I’m just finished listening to The Pumpkin Spice Cafe on audio, and I really liked it. Looking forward to continuing this series! 🍁 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝗌𝘆𝘀: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗜𝗵𝗶𝗰 𝗡𝗌𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗜𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗊𝘁𝗲𝗜𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗹𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗊𝗔𝗊 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗎𝗲 I listened to The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater two-years-ago and its such an autumn vibe book series. Highly recommend! 🍁 𝗖𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗕𝗌𝘆𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗔𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗌𝗺𝗮𝘀 This book has been on my radar for such a long time, and this will be the year I finally read this book! The title alone gives autumn / October vibes. 🍁 𝗧𝗌𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗊𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗌𝗻 𝗯𝘆 𝗕𝗿𝘆𝗻𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿 This book I added after seeing a lot of people from @bokprat_norge loving it and from seeing @kristinesbookworld review with the quotes. Excited to see what my thoughts on this one will be. 🍁 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗎𝗲 𝘁𝗌 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗌𝗿 𝗬𝗌𝘂𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗯𝘆 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗎𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗞𝗻𝗶𝗎𝗵𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘆 I needed one more book for this slide and wasn’t quite sure what book to add, then I stumbled upon this one and remembered @vicyvarher recommending this one and decided to give this one a shot. 🍁 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗌𝗳 𝗕𝗌𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗲 No, I still haven’t read this one🙈 I remember vagluey seeing the movie adaptation eons ago, and of course I watched the Shadowhunters tv-show and really liked it, so I think its time for me to dive into the books now. 𝘛𝘶𝘊𝘎𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘎𝘵𝘢𝘀𝘬 𝗀𝗢𝗧𝗗: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗌𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗌𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗎𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗎 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿? I know it’s a little late with a «summer» post, but I didn’t get around to posting it in August, so here it is now 😅 I actually had to look through my StoryGraph to see what genres I read most of in the summer. There wasn’t any surprises in that my genre doesn’t really change through out the year. So on the next slide you’ll see the top genre of the last 3 years. Sometimes it was slow going other times I was flying through the pages. The next two slides includes a review of each book - one for Gemina and one for Obsidio. I flew through the pages as I just needed to know what happened next. This one is pure action and leaves you wanting to know what happens next. At some point I stopped trusting anything that happened to our main characters as there was just one twist after another. I liked this book a lot better than the first book, Iluminae. I also really liked the characters; Hanna, the station captains pampered daughter who turns out to be a great fighter and stratiges. Nik, the reluctant member of a notorious crime family. We also get to meet some more people and even some that have connections to the characters we met in Illuminae, and a cameo of some of the characters of Illuminae. 𝟯 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗌𝗻 𝗕𝗌𝗌𝗞𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗎𝗿𝗮𝗺! 𝘘𝘖𝘛𝘋: 𝘐𝘎 𝘵𝘩𝘊𝘳𝘊 𝘢 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘎 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘊 𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘀𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶? 𝘐𝘧 𝘎𝘰 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬? I struggled for the longest time on what this post was going to be and how it was supposed to look. In the end I decided to keep it simple and share 3 books that had an impact on me. On this slide below and the next you can read why these three books are special 🩷 —— 𝗊𝗶𝘅 𝗌𝗳 𝗖𝗿𝗌𝘄𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗶𝗎𝗵 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘂𝗎𝗌 - 𝖳𝗁𝖟 𝖡𝗈𝗈𝗄 𝗍𝗁𝖺𝗍 𝗌𝗍𝖺𝗋𝗍𝖟𝖜 𝗂𝗍 𝖺𝗅𝗅 💖 I bought the Six of Crows duology as I wanted to start reading and I randomly came across this book that sounded really fun and interesting. However when I finally got them, I had a bit of a problem
I didn’t know how I was going to be able to experience this book, its characters and its story as I was struggling with reading and rembering what I had read. Then after some thought, a conversation and a few commercials for audiobook subscription site. I got the idea of trying to do a combo of following along in the physical book while listening to the audiobook, and it worked!🥳 𝗟𝗶𝗞𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗲𝗌𝗜𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗌 𝗯𝘆 𝗘.𝗟. 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘆 - 𝖳𝗁𝖟 𝖻𝗈𝗈𝗄 𝗍𝗁𝖺𝗍 𝗌𝗁𝗈𝗐𝖟𝖜 𝗆𝖟 𝖚 𝗐𝖺𝗌 𝗋𝖟𝖺𝖜𝗒 🥰 I stumbled upon a review of this book in 2023. At this point I had spent 3 years doing the audiobook + following along in a physical copy. When I found this book there was no audiobook and I didn’t think I would get to experience this one. However something within me told me I should read the few chapters that were available, so I did. Days went by and this book would not leave my brain, I was constantly thinking about it and running through what I remembered. Finally after some days of this, I decided to take a chance and buy the digital copy. I ended up finishing this book in 3 days!!! Fast I had ever finished a book in any format, and this one I had only «eyeball» read. And thus started my journey of «eyeball» reading. For those curious there is now an audiobook available! Sure seems like it😂 In all honesty this was perfect timing as I wasn’t thrilled with what I originally had planned, so now I have a little more time to work on that😅 However as most challenges/trends, I of course had to stumble upon a problem with this one too. For what I have seen most people post books they recommend based on the colors or if you really want to get into it - the right color and books with characters that fit the description. Since I didn’t have enough books fitting the colors for book recommendations, I decided to find books that I want to read that match the color palette. Did I match it perfectly? Probably not. I’m really excited as I have heard so many great things about this series. 🎧 I’m finally getting to the audiobook of Anatomy of an Alibi by Ashley Elston, which is one of the 2026 releases I’ve been interested in. I was so excited when I saw that one of the libraries finally got it on Libby! Here’s hoping it lives up to expectations. The thriller genre isn’t one I have explored much off, but its one Im wanting to explore
as long as it isn’t horror😂 📺I finally finished Virgin River season 7, yes I know Im a little late, but other series had priorities😂 I also watched the Sheep Detectives movie this weekend, it was a little slow imo, but a good time. —— Thank you @trettentanker and @lese_hele_livet for tagging me to show a book stack in the color that most of my books are 💖 by @cecilies.reads

I started Don’t Want You Like a Best Friend by Emma R. Alban and though I’ve barely started, I have enjoyed what I’ve read so far, however I can’t seem to find the energy to pick it up😩 I was hopeful that maybe I had found my way out of the slump that I have been in, but I’m wondering if I was only successful in finding an audiobook that holds my attention. I started the SCU Hockey series by J.J. Mulder on audio. I’m now on the second book - Save the Game. So I have at least found my next couple of audiobooks that I’ll be listening to 😅 I had seen the SCU hockey books showing up in @danas.daydreams posts and heard good things, so when I saw that the first three books were available on Kobo Plus in audio format I had to at least give the first book a chance, and now I’m on book 2, so thank you, Dana, for your wonderful book recommendations! 💖 by @cecilies.reads

Today I’m celebrating it by going to an annual lunch at my grandparents place, it’s always fun as most of the family typically makes it, it will be loud and way too many conversations will be happening at once😅 Later my parents, sister and I will be having a game night and eat tacos. This isn’t a typical celebration for us, but everyone wanted a chill evening and since the weather is overcast, why not stay indoors, play board games or play a competitive game on the Nintendo Switch. I hope everyone has a lovely day - celebrating or not ❀ (Don’t mind the fact that these books have nothing to do with Norway and that they aren’t even translated books 😂) by @cecilies.reads
