My fourth and last project for @ibug.art 2025 in Chemnitz. Very happy to mix drawings and collages, abstract forms and vegetal patterns in this old stair case. I used recycled newsprint. Hello ici! C'est le 5e jour de la phase créative pour préparer le festival @ibug.art à Chemnitz, ville européenne de la culture 2025, en Allemagne. La recette: trouver un lieu abandonné, nettoyer le spot avec des volontaires courageux.ses, accueillir une centaine de street artistes internationaux, les nourrir avec de la bonne graille vegan, leur laisser une semaine de liberté pour faire TOUT ce qu'iels veulent. Je suis dans ce monde parallèle depuis le 2 août. Je ne peux pas encore montrer tout ce qu'on y fabrique, mais voilà un petit aperçu des choses que je prépare et des espaces dans lequel on vit tous depuis une semaine. La team ibug travaille sur le site depuis plusieurs mois pour accueillir le public sur trois week-ends entre fin août et début septembre. S’y mêlent musique ambient douce, bruits de la forêt et extraits de penseur•euses, pour explorer nos liens à la terre et au monde vivant. « 2025. Ici la terre, pour une communication à destination de la Terre. Stop. L’humain joue avec le feu. Stop. Mais le vivant renaît de ses cendres. Stop. Retourner à l’élément terre. S’émerveiller du monde. Stop. Le peuple de la forêt est aux portes de nos oreilles. Il faut juste franchir l’orée. Stop. Les bruits du sous-bois, des champignons qui poussent, des oiseaux qui nichent. Stop. Mettre les mains dans la terre. Les oreilles dans les feuillages. Stop. Ecouter la respiration bleue des vallées profondes. Stop. S’en aller dans sa curiosité. Stop. Notre subsistance en dépend. Stop. Le temps ne presse pas.
