The older I get, the more I realize that the most valuable things in life aren’t things you can buy 🤍

Building my own business in my twenties has taught me that my discipline, confidence and independence are worth more than any material things.

I’ve worked hard to become the woman I am today, but one thing I’ll never compromise on is my kindness. Because being ambitious and successful means nothing to me if I lose my values along the way.

My goal has never been to just build a successful career. It’s to build a life where I’m healthy, free to make my own decisions and genuinely proud of the woman I’m becoming.

And to me, that’s real wealth. Material wealth in my opinion is just a nice add-on but how you make people feel is what makes everything worth it.

Growing up, I thought success was about what you achieve. But building my own business and finding my own path have taught me that who you become matters just as much, if not even more.

I want to be ambitious, but always kind. Independent, but compassionate and giving. Confident, but humble and caring.

I want to inspire other women to believe in themselves, just as I’m learning to believe in myself.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about building a life I’m proud of, but becoming a woman I’m proud of and especially helping other women on their path 🤍

I think my younger self would be pretty proud of the woman I’m becoming.

Not because I have everything figured out (I definitely don’t), but because I’m actually doing the things I used to dream about.

I started my own business, learned to make decisions for myself and stopped waiting for the perfect moment to go after what I wanted.

And there’s still so much I want to do, learn and experience. But I think that’s my favorite part. I’m not even close to being done. 🤍

These are the things that I’m obsessed with and why:

1. All kinds of dogs – because they’re literally the sweetest souls on earth.

2. Good coffee – because no day is complete without any kind of caffeine.

3. Working for my dreams – because I know exactly what I want my future to look like.

4. Classical music – because nothing makes me escape reality better and leave my phone in my bag.

5. Content creation – because I just love being creative and inspire others.

6. Everything aesthetic – because I love romanticizing even the smallest moments in life.

Three months can change your entire life… I know this because that’s exactly what happened to me last year.

I could have waited until January. Until I felt more ready. Until I was 100% sure that becoming self-employed would actually work but instead I started to take action. I built my business alongside my job, took on clients and eventually made the decision to quit. And looking back, those few months completely changed the direction of my life.

So if there’s something you’ve been telling yourself you’ll start “next year”, why not start now? The months will pass anyways, wether you do something or not.

You still have three months, three months to take the first step, three months to build momentum, three months to prove to yourself what can happen when you stop waiting and start doing. Don’t underestimate how different your life could look by January. 🤍

When I started building my business on the side of a full-time job, I thought becoming self-employed would eventually make everything easier. And in many ways, it did.

But being your own boss also means there’s no one telling you to show up. No one checking if you did the work. No one setting the goals for you. Do you know people who say they can only work under pressure? Yup, you’re going to be the one who has to push yourself, even when there is no pressure.

There are still days when I’m tired, unmotivated, doubting myself or wondering if any of it will work out. The difference is: I don’t let those feelings make the decisions for me anymore. Because the life I want requires me to keep showing up, especially on the days I don’t feel like it. 🤍

I was building a life I already knew didn’t feel like mine.

I had the stable job, the clear career path and everything I was supposed to want. But deep down, I knew I wanted more freedom, more ownership and the chance to build something of my own.
So I started building a client stack on the side and eventually left my stable job. And I had no idea if self-employment would actually work out.

But if I had to make that decision all over again, I would still choose the uncertainty. I would still work for the life I actually want. I would still bet on myself.

Because I’d rather try a hundred times than spend my life wondering what could have happened if I had. And the freedom I have now is just indescribable 🤍

I was never really good at “just relaxing” when I knew I wanted more for myself.

Even when I had the stable job, the salary and the career path I was supposed to be happy with, my mind was already somewhere else. Thinking about what I could build, how I could become self-employed and what my life could look like if I actually went for it.

So I worked on my own business after work, took on my first clients and eventually quit the life that looked good on paper to build one that actually felt more like me. Maybe I’ll learn to relax one day. But right now, I genuinely love being ambitious about my life. 🤍
