Cedar Tribe started out of a genuine desire for adolescents and youths to discover and maximise their potentials

As a teenager, I got so much support from the church ,school, family and friends and this enabled me to thrive and excel beyond my peers but sadly, this isn’t the case for most Nigerian teenagers.

One in every five children in Nigeria is out of school because their parents can no longer afford fees due to the rising economic hardships in the country and these kids end up being forced into malicious practices to fend for themselves .

Cedar Tribe seeks to tackle this social inequality by enlightening , educating and empowering them with resources that boost their socio economic status and position them to compete effectively with the rest of the world.

We organise :

1)Enlightenment conferences on personal awareness, purpose and mental health to make them more emotionally resilient individuals.

2)Partnerships for social change by linking NGOs and Volunteers to Education Initiatives and Sponsors that improve the quality and equity of education.

3)Skill acquisition boot camps to boost adolescents and youth earning capabilities with insight apprenticeships & vocational grants

4)Workshops addressing social issues and problems.

Through these means, we hope that we inspire and empower 1000 trailblazers to impact their communities positively by 2023

Ours is a message of hope, love and a dedication to see disadvantaged adolescents and youths thrive in all spheres of their lives and we’re glad that you are on this journey with us.

We are excited to announce the successful conclusion of the Cedar Tribe Business Club (Pilot), designed to ignite personal discovery and entrepreneurial spirit in young adults, while equipping them with the foundational tools needed to thrive in both the informal and formal sectors.

Over the course of three days, we took students on Personal Discovery, Business Modelling, Ethics and Basic Business Accounting whilst inviting our guest speaker @theoluwaseun_wisdom to speak on Chasing your dreams.

The students left the program with thought-provoking takeaways and practical tools to turn their ambitions into tangible success. We are deeply grateful to all our partners for their support in making this event possible.
Special shout out to our volunteers @giwa_sola @iam_2hays @this.is.ifeanyi @onize_osuashi and @jesse_hrvy25 for implementing this program on the ground!

The Reign Scholars Program was one of our successful feats this year.

- We went to public secondary schools for enlightenent campaigns and conferences each quarter that exposed senior secondary students to endless possibilities whilst equipping the with the skills they need to thrive.

- Then after our quartely programs, we drafted the top 15 % of these students into our highly competitive Reign scholars program that features a purpose bootcamp with vocational grants and paid insight apprenticeships or intenships at the end.

The video above is a testimonial from one of our beneficiaries: Jesse Irhirhi and we are so happy that we supported him on his journey to becoming.

As we look forward to more placements in the coming year, we thank you to all our partners that undertook scholars to aid their organisations objectives as well as give back to the community.

I was asked recently to share how my past led me to my purpose/what I am currently doing and I filmed about it in my new video ( The Link is in my bio)

The truth is sometimes we underestimate the power of our story and it’s ability to lead us into purpose.

This is definitely not one to miss if you’re currently trying to find your call and I hope you’d be able to learn a thing or two from my story.
