Hot take 🌶️:Not everything needs AI. 🤖

AI this. AI that. AI photos. AI videos. AI edits.

For this shoot, I wanted to do something crazy…

Pick up my camera and actually take the photos. 😂📸

No AI generated rooms.
No fake environments.
No ridiculous effects.

Just good lighting, good composition, the right angles and a camera.

Back to the basics. 🎥📸

Don’t get me wrong AI is incredible, and there’s absolutely a place for it in the creative industry.

But I also think we’re getting to a point where REAL is starting to stand out again.

There’s something different about walking into an actual space, finding the shot and creating an image that represents what was really there.

So here’s the debate 👇🌶️

Are we getting TOO dependent on AI when it comes to content?

Well… it’s been a minute 👋😂

If you’re wondering where I’ve been, I promise I didn’t disappear I’ve just spent a little too much time behind the camera instead of posting what I’ve been creating. 📸🎥

So I figured it was probably time for a little reintroduction.

I’m Zal, founder of Cedar Media 🌲

For me, Cedar Media has always been about more than just taking a nice photo or making a cool video. I love the whole creative process meeting new people, hearing their ideas, figuring out how to tell their story and turning something in my head into something you can actually watch.

And apparently flying drones around whenever I get the opportunity. 😂🚁

You’ll be seeing a lot more around here again behind the scenes moments, shoots, photography, cinematic video, drone work, projects I’m proud of, creative ideas and probably a little chaos along the way.
