365 days since I publicly said YES to Jesus. 🥹🤍

And whew… what a year it has been. Baptism didn’t mean life suddenly became easy. It meant I finally understood Who I could run to when it wasn’t.

Behind some of my happiest moments were silent battles that most people knew nothing about. I had to experience grief all over again. But this time, I didn’t allow myself to go back to the dark place I once found myself in after losing my brother.

Not because it didn’t hurt. Not because I didn’t have hard days. But because this time, I chose God.

I prayed. I cried. I kept going. I kept growing. I kept showing up and becoming the best version of myself, even while carrying things privately.

God has carried me, corrected me, comforted me, stretched me, and loved me through every version of myself this year. I’m nowhere near finished, but when I look back at who I was a year ago, I can see His hand all over my life.

And I’m so grateful for @blueprintchurchhtx I’ve been going there for two years now, and I can truly say God used that church to change my life. It gave me a community where I could grow, learn, be challenged, and build a real relationship with God. Walking through those doors two years ago was one of the best things I could have done for myself. Blueprint will forever be a part of my testimony. 🥹🤍 @falyndavis @matthewhdavis

I almost didn’t post this… but too many of my friends have been telling me to share my transformation, so here we are. 🤍

At my heaviest, I was 174 lbs at 5’0”. More than the number on the scale, I had slowly stopped taking care of myself the way I deserved.

People often think transformation starts with motivation, but that’s not really how it works. Motivation comes and goes. Systems, discipline, and consistency are what create lasting change.

For me, that looked like Pilates, juicing, eating more whole foods, getting my steps in, staying active, and most importantly, my 21-day fast. That fast didn’t just strengthen my body it strengthened my mind, my relationship with God, and the way I showed up for myself.

Healing taught me that your body responds to how you care for it. The more I nourished it instead of punishing it, the more everything started to change.

Today, I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been. And honestly, my favorite part isn’t the weight I lost it’s knowing that as I get older, I’m becoming healthier instead of sicker. That’s a blessing I don’t take for granted.

This isn’t about being “skinny.” It’s about building a lifestyle that my future self will thank me for.

If you’re waiting for the perfect time to start… this is your reminder that small choices, repeated consistently, become big results. One walk. One healthy meal. One workout. One prayer at a time. 🌱✨
