Here's to our 11 years of marriage!!!
@malachiew

Thank you Malachi for standing by me through this life as my forever ride or die. Almost 15 years deep into our relationship, there's bound to be some bumps and dips along the way, but we always manage to come through it all shining bright.

I am incredibly grateful and proud of the amazing husband and father that you are. We are still the ultimate dream team, along with the two additional mini team mates that we made. 🤣😂

Let's keep dreaming big and making life magic together!

Love ya.

'Only Fools Rush In'

A short film looking at modern love and the magical ritual and ceremony of marriage through Melbourne's Celebrant Jam.

OMGWTF we've been married for 10 YEARS!!!
@malachiew
✨😱🤯😱✨

Can't quite believe that a decade ago we dreamt up this mad plan of doing Burning Man in the Nevada deserts and then continuing on to Las Vegas to get married with Elvis. @gracelandweddingchapellv

10 years of marriage still sounds pretty INCREDIBLE to me!
It has been a wonderful and challenging time for all. We've been making, baking and raising 2 babes, buying and renovating our home, grieving and adopting furbabez, and of course surviving a global pandemic. Through it all we were safe and secure in knowing that we had each other to ride out the waves.

I am incredibly proud of our yummy little fam and the life that we have built together. Thank you my darling husband for literally EVERYTHING!!!

Looking forward to celebrating our love and renewing our vows over the coming weekend. 😘

Full Moon Festival
✨🌕✨
@monamelbcelebrant @sambakinghigh
@rombe_rooftop

My darling friend Mona hosted a wonderful day to celebrate Chinese culture and our Southern Hemisphere's Aussie version of the traditional 'Mid-Autumn' Full Moon festival.

Mona invited everyone to come along and bring their families, friends, and doggos to join in the fun in experiencing the tastes, sounds and colourful activities of a Chinese cultural celebration.

I am over the moon to be able to bring along my own family to join in the cultural fun. @malachiew

Growing up in Shanghai, my family did not take part in much of the traditional cultural celebrations. It's only through my work as a celebrant and connecting with people like Mona and Nikki @nikki.zhaooo that I am able to learn to appreciate the wonderful beauty of some of my mother country's cultural practices.

It's important for me to share some of these traditions with my children to instill some knowledge and pride in their own cultural heritage.

It was a beautiful day and it was also very sweet to introduce the next generation of Asian/Aussies to each other and see them mixing and mingling.

Magical Montsalvat
@montsalvatweddings

A few months ago I had the pleasure of returning to beautiful Montsalvat to perform ceremony. This time I was invited to MC the reception within the cozy firelit Great Hall.

A week before the ceremony I happen to come across the cult 90's vampire movie Queen of the Damned, which was partly filmed at Montsalvat. In my early 20s I worked with a couple of boys who grew up there, their grandfather was the original founder of the space.

These grounds hold such rich history and stories, and I'm grateful to hold space for more stories to take part within.

It was also a treat to work alongside the talented Annette on the strings and Niko behind the lense.
@annetteeldridgeentertainment @nikolajanev

At the end of the night Niko showed me a most magical wardrobe that opens out to a secret passage way.

I look forward to my next visit to magical Montsalvat. by @celebrant_jam

REKINDLE06
✨DREAMS✨
@rekindle.stories

On the first Wednesday of the month we come together for a storytelling gathering held at Enbarr @auntieannieshotel

I had the pleasure of 'guest' hosting the September session on Dreams. Such an interesting topic to explore in our time.

Now more than ever, we need to keep on dreaming.
Let's all manifest the future that we'd want to see come true.

It was wonderful to help hold space at Rekindle and catch up with some regular familiar faces. Massive thanks to all our speakers who came through to share with us their dreams. @danimusrigg @loveismagicbysophia @thepoeticcelebrant

I'm glad to say that I kept the Rekindle flame burning for our regular host @renee_the_dj_celebrant

Rekindle07 will be on Wednesday 07/10 and the topic will be
✨Life Paths✨ with a fresh line up of speakers.

Book your tickets! 🎫

Pre-ceremony catch ups with these two cuties.

Fun chats getting to know my lovers and helping them visualise their wedding day and married life together.

This is the work that goes into that ceremony making magic!

Thanks to my local @pinoakbeerwine for letting me host my meeting within their cozy rooms. by @celebrant_jam

A beautiful spring ceremony for our sweethearts at magical Chateau Wyuna.

Our thoughtful newlyweds had put together a most wonderful day.

And what a treat with a traditional Pani Puri station set up during cocktail hour and the most delicious Indian feast by @jeeta_catering_melbourne

Me and my fellow vendors Zona and James from @wildandwoozy went to town on the spread!

Our DJ Keegan from @audio.entertainment upped the ante with his mirror photobooth and smoke machine dancefloor for our newlyweds first dance.

As the celebrant and MC, my job is done when the d-floor is pumping. It wasn't hard with this crowd, I had to clear the floor of super keen dancers for our couple to perform their first dance as husband and wife.

Samantha and Zane met on the dancefloor on a random Monday night out at an Irish pub in Knox. And now they will forever be doing this dance of life with one another as husband and wife.

Congratulations on rocking out 10 years of fatherhood and being my DILF in this life.

Thanks for being the top head on our family pyramid and the designated driver on this wild family adventure. We appreciate all that you do everyday to show up and support us.

We love you!

Here's to hopefully 🙏🥹🙏 another 10 years of silly family portraits, before the kids get grown. 😭
