Today is Carman day! Here's a little history about this day: Welcome To Carman Day!
In 1996, a crowd of nearly 60,000 attended Carman's Georgia Dome concert, making history as the largest Christian music concert held by a solo artist in Atlanta to date.

Atlanta showed their appreciation to Carman during the concert when Atlanta Mayor Bill Campbell presented Carman with a plaque declaring Oct. 19 "Carman Day" in Atlanta.

Although he's no longer here, we continue to celebrate his music and legacy. Carman, we salute you today for your work in God's kingdom. All glory goes to Jesus Christ. Have a blessed day everyone.
