Silky steamed egg with savoury Spanish minced pork. Simple, comforting and ready in no time. 🥚

No Shaoxing wine, ginger or spring onion needed. Spanish pork tastes clean all on its own.

Ingredients
Celeplate Select Spanish Minced Pork 250g
2 eggs

Seasoning
Light soy sauce
Dark soy sauce
Salt, sugar
Cornflour mixed with water, to thicken

Method
1. Crack two eggs. Use half an eggshell as your measuring cup and add six half-shells of warm water. Beat well.
2. Cover and steam until just set, about 10 minutes.
3. Fry the minced pork until it changes colour. Season with light soy, dark soy, salt and sugar.
4. Add the cornflour slurry and stir until glossy. That’s your all-purpose pork sauce done.
5. Spoon the sauce over the steamed egg.

Serve with rice: silky egg on every grain, rich savoury pork in every bite. Give it a go for your family tonight!

The first bite of early autumn: bright, tangy broth and crisp, springy pork. 🍋🌶️

Iberian pork secreto has fine marbling running all the way through, so there’s no marinating and no cornflour. Slice it thin and it goes straight into the pot. Even cooked, it keeps a proper crunch.

Ingredients
Celeplate Iberian Pork Secreto Jowl
Passion fruit, tomato, lemon, minced garlic

Seasoning
Bird’s eye chillies, pickled chillies
Salt, light soy sauce

Method
1. Slice the pork thinly. No marinade needed.
2. Fry the garlic, bird’s eye chillies and pickled chillies in a little oil until fragrant.
3. Add the tomato and cook until it softens.
4. Pour in stock, add the passion fruit pulp and bring to the boil. Season with salt and light soy sauce.
5. Add the pork a few slices at a time. Swish until it changes colour and curls at the edges. A few extra seconds won’t make it tough.
6. Finish with a squeeze of lemon.

Tangy, spicy, crisp. Give it a go for your family tonight!
