my heart is full. what an unforgettable night. 🖤✨..i don’t think i can really put into words how grateful I am for not only the opportunity to perform at Monday nights’ @soulsoireeco Monologue Slam — but to be in the presence of so many gifted artists. wow. ..this was my first live performance ever — & i have always had the upmost respect and admiration for theatre actors. it’s just another skill set and muscle. anyone will tell you it’s completely different than tv/film. ..i knew this would stretch me as an artist, i was nervous AF and at times questioned whether i should do it. however, i know that if God brought me to it, He’d get me through it. And when the nerves kicked in, i prayed and knew it was faith > fear...congrats to every performer who touched the stage. i am in awe. big ups to the founders @shomarilove @mrfitz_ @chimancho_ for creating such an amazing space for us to pull up and just play. thank you for your encouragement and belief in all of us. the energy was unmatched & lit up the night. onward & upward.🎭💫..#TheMonologueSlam #SoulSoirée by @celeste.seda
