“tell” - oil on stretched canvas
36”x48”

Found a fabulous vintage rotary phone from the 50’s/60’s and am instantly transported back to my childhood. I miss the feel of a coiled phone cord and the patience required to dial a full phone number.

mini framing v1

Working through my goal of 100 oil painting studies. I’m not sure I’ll reach my goal in time for @sebarts Art Trials on the 10th but I am getting close.

I wanted to share how simple they are to frame. This example is simply an “off-the-shelf” frame from a big-box store. The matting was included, and you need only to pop the artwork in.

I love that it can be changed should the artwork find itself in another place at a future date, or, due to the miniature size (6”x6”), the frame can help it both breathe and take up space.

I’ll circle back with more options soon. #smallart #bayareaart #bayareaartist #artiststudies #portraitartist taken in Sebastopol, California by @celeste_duffy
