Southern fiction, dark in all the right places. Fierce hearts, buried secrets & sideways magic. If you love Anne Shirley AND the uncanny—welcome home.

POSTS STORIES REELS

Hi. I’m Celeste. 👋

I’ve realized I’ve never actually done a proper “meet the author” post here.
Not because I didn’t want to—mostly because I was a little nervous. (Life! Amirite?)

But stories are about showing up, even when your voice shakes.

So…here I am.

If you’re someone who loves fierce hearts, complicated people, a whisper of the uncanny, and stories that linger instead of rushing past—welcome. I’m really glad you found your way here. 🖤

What kind of stories feel like home to you?

A child.
A serpent.
A witch.

pastel pretty Atlanta
+
the grit of the mountains.

Add one seven-year-old boy, a clutch of wee beasties, and a witch with a taste for blood.

Creepy, strange, and oddly sweet.

September hopefuls ( arcs edition)

I have already started The Black Disc. Its short one but a different line of story to read.

I also started Anthem of Thar. It is a historic fiction.

I read all other 3 books of Celeste. So I'm excited about The obsidian egg.

The complete new addition and I'm curious to start Slay like a mother.

Thank you so much for the book package of Celeste Suttons newest book in Her Dark Inheritance Series. The Obsidian Egg is out now! This series is Southern Gothic/cozy fantasy with fae-infused vibes. There’s buried family secrets, cursed towns, and maybe some dragons to come! I loved reading these!!!

Blurbs:
The Ballad of Baby Blue (prequel) — 1930s Appalachia. Blue, a hidden fae girl, falls for her human neighbor Evie in a town where magic and love both have to stay secret.

The Queen’s Box (Book 1) — Willow flees Atlanta for Hemridge, NC, chasing whispers that old fae blood runs in her veins. She and Cole unearth a cursed relic that rips a hole to another world.

The Hollow Crown (Book 2) — A church scandal exposes a boy, Gage, tied to dark magic and forces Willow to reveal she’s been hiding Cole’s “dead” brother, Micah, all along.

Thank you so much @celestesuttonauthor for creating this beautiful series!!

ALSO, I muted the video, but you should have heard my reaction to the little dragon! I was so excited! 🫶 🖤BLURB🖤 When seven-year-old Gage crosses into a fractured world with a clutch of duskwyrm eggs, he ignites the wrath of a ruthless queen. Now he’s running through a land at war, the rules shifting faster than he can understand. A young rebel becomes an unlikely ally. A long-lost brother stands on the wrong side of the fight. And the eggs he swore to protect grow hotter by the day, a restless clutch straining toward something more. As the queen closes in, the cost of keeping them alive becomes impossible to ignore.
