Venus square Mars makes me think of Veruca Salt from Willie Wonka & the Chocolate Factory: "I want it and I want it NOW!"

This energy can bring up desire, frustration, impatience, attraction, tension, pursuit, pleasure, competition, and impulsivity.

The invitation is to notice what you want before you rush to do something about it. Can you let yourself be in want without frustration running the show?

Have you ever been at a 4-way stop where no one knows whose turn it is? Everyone does that choppy, mildly infuriating dance until someone finally moves and the flow is restored.

That’s what this fixed-sign T-square feels like to me. When we encounter this kind of energy in our own lives, our first instinct might be to tighten our grip, force our way through, or insist that we know what needs to happen next.

Sometimes, that’s exactly what’s required. But not every standstill is solved by pushing harder.

If you find yourself at a metaphorical 4-way stop this week, experiment with loosening your grip. Get curious about whether relinquishing a little control might restore flow more efficiently than forcefulness.

The T-square’s release point in Taurus offers a reminder to come back to what is steady, sustainable, and actually worth maintaining.

If you want to lean into Taurus themes a little more/find ways to apply them in your life, our last three interviews provide tangible places to start: Color Psychology with Lisa Morton (#124), Your Unique Blueprint with Kara Bitar (#125), and Root Cause Health with Jodi Meschuk (#126). Check them out if you haven’t!

Not all friction is a problem to solve.

Sometimes tension is just information. Other times, it's showing us where something needs to change, where our values have shifted, where an old pattern no longer fits, or where we're trying to control an outcome instead of listening to what's being revealed.

With Venus square Pluto this week, we're invited to get curious about the places where relationships, desires, values, and power dynamics feel a little uncomfortable.

Instead of immediately solving problems or fixing discomfort, spend a little time in curiosity ✨️

☀️♍️ Friday’s Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces brings a week of shifting plans, sudden realizations, and information that may change how we see something we thought we understood. 🌕♓️

With Uranus in Gemini squaring the Sun and Moon, flexibility is especially important. Rather than immediately trying to regain control when something unexpected happens, stay curious about what the change might be revealing.

Your action step: if something goes differently than expected this week, pause before trying to fix it and ask yourself:

“What is this disruption trying to show me?”

Give yourself a little space to listen before deciding what comes next.

Sometimes, the disruption is the information ⚡️

Jupiter is the planet of expansion, growth, abundance, optimism, and possibility. Leo is a fixed fire sign associated with creativity, confidence, self-expression, play, and the courage that can only come from your own heart. When Jupiter moves through Leo, we’re invited to go a little bigger; to create more, play more, take up more space, and let ourselves be guided by what brings us genuine joy.

Jupiter in Leo can amplify our desire to express ourselves boldly and reminds us that growth doesn’t always have to be serious; sometimes, expansion looks like having more fun.

The motto provided on each slide represents a phrase you can repeat to yourself as we all live under Jupiter in Leo’s influence. Simply look for your Rising Sign to find your motto! If you don’t know what your Rising Sign is, put your birth information into any free natal chart generator and look for the sign on the left side of the wheel (in some charts, it's marked AC for Ascendant).

The Sun in Leo is trine Saturn in Aries this week, bringing together courage, confidence, discipline, and determination. This is a beautiful time to reinforce the foundations of your life, commit to your long-term goals, and take meaningful action toward the future you're trying to build.

Instead of asking yourself, "How can I accomplish everything?" ask, "What's one promise I can keep to myself today?"

Every time you follow through on something you said you were going to do, you're doing more than checking off a task. You're building self-trust.

Self-trust becomes self-respect. Self-respect becomes confidence. Confidence becomes momentum.

That's the gift of this Sun-Saturn trine. Not perfection, but consistency. Not instant success, but a stronger foundation, one intentional choice at a time.

ASTROLOGY FORECAST 💫

We've got a full moon conjunct Pluto today - time for some excavating & truth telling! Don't know where to start? We've got you.

🌕 What is genuinely coming from your heart? What are you doing in exchange for validation?
🌕 Where are you trying to control the outcome verses allowing transformation?
🌕 Are there any emotions you've been analyzing instead of experiencing?
🌕 Where might I be overdoing it? Even if it's positive?
🌕 If something feels intense this week - can you choose to be in observance of that thing rather than trying to fix that thing?

There's quite a few things going on in the heavens this week... the Moon is waxing, the Sun shifts into Leo, Jupiter and the Sun oppose Pluto, Mercury stations direct and Saturn stations retrograde. (Just to name a few!) I'd like to focus on are the oppositions to Pluto, the planet that represents power, transformation, and what is hidden.

This week's astrology invites us to examine where our power comes from, how we use our influence, and what culmination points are we observing in our lives.

Let's go!! 🔥🌬️

How is this configuration impacting you and/or how will you intentionally use it? We wanna know!

On the topic of safety... Creating it for yourself or for your children can be a similar process, and this is just one of many topics under the umbrella of motherhood that we discussed in this week's episode with the lovely and inspiring @alyssarafidi_

Tune in for her vulnerable and epic shares of her 4 pregnancies, her journey of being a mother & doula, a dive into her natal chart, and more!

The Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter are all currently in Cancer. Crabs rarely approach their target head on; they tend to side-step the tough stuff.

Luckily, we had Phil M. Jones on the podcast to break down the architecture of productive conversations and remind us that the goal isn't always to win. It's to understand 🌊🦀
