Here’s my race run from @mountainstatescup Rnd 2 at @solitudemountain! Was super bummed to make a silly costly mistake near the bottom, but I was happy with my riding in my race run overall and had a blast of a weekend! So awesome to have the level of production that @shawnneer & crew are bringing to these races! And always fun to race places I’ve never been before! 🥈P2 in Pro Women at Round 1 of @mountainstatescup @angelfire_bikepark today in some interesting conditions! It was an absolute blast and I had a great weekend racing these fast ladies! Congrats to the queen @maylei_826 on smoking me! Downhill racing is back and words truly cannot describe what that means to me. @tdsenduro lived up to the hype! Sick trails, fun people, and overall a hell of a time! I absolutely can’t wait for next year!! (Part 2/2) 2025 con’t: As I mentioned, I’m learning to take the good with the bad. There is so much to be thankful for in my life, the best of which are all the incredible humans I spend my time with. I lost some wonderful people this year, but I gained some new ones too. I reconnected with some old friends, met new people, and strengthened a lot of existing relationships. Bikes are frequently a common denominator in this wonderful world of mine, and I just want to thank you all for being there for me in one way or another. Whether it’s taking some laps in the bike park, racing against me to make me better, brightening my day by being an enjoyable person to work with, or answering my phone calls with “it’s going to suck, and I can’t change that, but I’m here for you”. I truly couldn’t do it without you all. My biggest goal for this coming year is to fully trust in God’s plan for my life. Anyone who knows me knows I’m not exactly one who relinquishes control easily. But I’m trying to do my best at everything I can do, and let the rest happen. This past year has taught me that trying your hardest and stubborn brute force is not always enough to will something that is not meant to be (despite my best efforts). Learning to accept that, without compromising my work ethic and lofty goals, is necessary for peace in my brain and in my world. I’m working on learning to give myself a bit more grace and compassion rather than constantly beating myself up. It’s a process, but I’m grateful to be moving in the right direction. Here’s to a 2026 filled with intention, overwhelming love, connection, experiences, and joy. Oh and bikes. Lots and lots of bikes 😋PS sorry there are too many people to tag!
