Lately ive been really tired and lost, and sometimes all i think about is getting lost in a new place and discover a new location Lebanon
Qarnayel is the 8th largest village and municipality in the Baabda District of the Mount Lebanon Governorate in Lebanon. The village is located between 1100 and 1600 meters above sea level in the western steep slopes of Lebanon. Qornayel Lakes are a group of picturesque mountain lakes situated in the rugged cliffs and lush pine forests of the Metn region in Mount Lebanon. I miss my village in the south in a way that goes beyond nostalgia, like something rooted deep inside me that no distance can erase, it’s not just the place I long for but the life that shaped me, the الأرض that raised us, the streets that carry our names and stories, I miss the simple rhythm of our days, the familiar faces, the laughter, the feeling of belonging to something real and unshaken, because the south was never just a place, it was identity, it was strength, it was people who stand their ground no matter what, and even now, even after everything, that feeling hasn’t left us, it lives in us stronger than ever, war may have forced us away but it didn’t take away our connection, it didn’t break what ties us to our land, if anything it made it clearer, deeper, more rooted, I don’t just miss going back, I carry the certainty that we will, because this is not just memory, this is something alive, something that refuses to fade, I miss the life we had but I also believe in the life that is waiting for us there, the one we will rebuild, the one we will return to with even more meaning, because we are not people who forget or move on easily, we are people who belong, who hold on, who return, and no matter how far we are right now, the south is not gone from us, it is in us, in our voices, in our memories, in our strength, and one day we won’t just miss it, we will walk its أرض again, not as strangers, but as people who never truly left

نحن البشر خُلقنا مختلفين في أشكالنا وألواننا وثقافاتنا، لكن ما يجمعنا جميعاً هو إنسانيتنا التي لا تكتمل إلا بالحب والرحمة. فالإنسان الحقيقي لا يُقاس بقوته أو ماله، بل بقدرته على أن يكون لطيفاً مع غيره، محبّاً للخير، حريصاً على ألا يؤذي قلباً ولا يكسر روحاً. إن التعامل الحسن مع الناس يزرع فيهم الأمل ويعيد للقلوب ثقتها، ويجعل للحياة معنى أعمق. واللطف، مهما بدا صغيراً، يترك أثراً كبيراً لا يزول، فالكلمة الطيبة والابتسامة الصادقة قد تغيّر يوماً كاملاً لشخص آخر. لذلك، فإن أعظم ما يمكن أن نقدّمه لأنفسنا وللعالم من حولنا هو أن نكون مصدراً للخير، ننشر الحب والاحترام، فنرتقي بإنسانيتنا ونحقق الغاية التي خُلقنا من أجلها.

Up here in the mountains, the world feels both endless and quiet. There’s a strange comfort in losing yourself among the trees and peaks, where time slows down and nothing feels urgent anymore. It’s in this sense of being “lost” that I actually feel more present, more alive, and closer to myself than anywhere else. Sometimes, we need to get lost to remember who we are.
