[B]Lijf part 1.

“[B]Lijf is a performance about the body as a source of memory, as a compass for feeling and as a place where we can come home again and again. An ode to human feeling.”

This is part one of a photoseries/video series made by @celine_mm__ and I in collaboration with @de.blckbx . This photoseries was made for the theatre performance [B]Lijf to be projected during the performances.

I had a lot of fun during my time in @de.blckbx doing something I had never thought of doing and that is acting/performing in @korzotheater and twice in @theaterschoolrabarber. I had the honor of working with a bunch of talented people who each put a piece of themselves into this performance including me.

This piece is directed by @xem.cv and @heronimus84 who are two amazing teachers and artists!

Next couple of posts will be dedicated to this photoseries. by @celine_mm__

Develop that one random undeveloped roll of film, u might get surprised with what comes out of it.

Shot on Olympus OM-3 with Kodak ultramax (tweaked the colors to make it interesting, purists will hate me for it)

A concept tryout from @celine_mm__

Slight deviation from my usual style but it still looks cool

~ Miwensa

BLCKBX is powered by theaterschool Rabarber

For Celine Martosoewondo & Samira Veldwijk, everything is due in time... These two artists use vulnerability and storytelling to foster connection. Samira transforms personal struggles into visual expressions that offer comfort and solidarity to those who feel unseen. Celine uses film to highlight both subtle and profound moments, creating space for reflection and dialogue. Together, their work invites others to explore emotion, embrace self-expression, and find community through shared experience.
