A day of exploring and learning in Sharjah. 🌍

Today we visited Buhais Geology Park, surrounded by beautiful mountains and desert landscapes. Discovering how our planet evolved over millions of years, learning about rocks, sand, mountains and dunes, and getting to know more about the fascinating history of this region.

The kids absolutely love these kinds of adventures. Exploring new places, asking endless questions and discovering how the world around them works.

One of the things we are most grateful for about living here is how much there is to see, experience and learn together. So many places still to discover, often just a short drive from home.

Another day full of curiosity, little discoveries and family memories. ☀️

A day at One&Only Za’abeel 🤍

The perfect holiday morning. Slow starts, poolside moments, sunshine, swims and making memories together.

During summer break our mornings are for the kids. Exploring, laughing and enjoying this beautiful place we call home. Afternoons are for getting work done, building, creating and chasing dreams.

Pool days and summer holidays have officially started. 🤍

Two months of family time ahead. Slow mornings, beach walks, poolside lunches, endless swims, little adventures, smiles and laughter.

Dips in the water to cool off, sunshine to warm our hearts and time to simply enjoy being together.

Looking back at this past year with so much gratitude. A year full of firsts, changes and beautiful memories. Feeling incredibly lucky to have so many amazing places around us to explore, enjoy and call part of our everyday life.

The hardest part is choosing where to go next. ☀️

A day at Anantara Ras Al Khaimah 🤍

One of those spontaneous day trips that turn into something special. The kids running freely, beach time, sunshine, slow moments and space to just be.

From poolside pauses to little adventures around the resort, these are the days that feel easy and full. No plans, just going with the flow and enjoying every moment together.

A day at the Louvre Abu Dhabi with our little tribe 🤍
Together with grandma, we explored one of our favourite places, a space that feels inspiring and calm at the same time.

The kids joined a workshop, learning about art in the most playful and engaging way, while we wandered through the galleries and the temporary Picasso exhibition. Watching them discover, ask questions and create made it even more special.

Not many people know that I once studied art history for a term in Hong Kong, so moments like these feel extra close to my heart. A little full-circle moment, sharing this love with them.

We ended the day the best way possible, with a relaxed lunch together, soaking it all in.

Happy Easter. A magical Sunday celebrating new beginnings, the arrival of spring and life in its most beautiful form, here in the desert. This first year after emigrating is filled with firsts, and this was our very first Easter in the UAE.

This place remains one of our favourites, so close to home and always feeling special. Spending Easter with the kids, searching for eggs in the sand and creating new memories together. Moments filled with laughter, curiosity and that simple sense of wonder.

Sharing the day with friends, surrounded by warmth, connection and joy. Feeling deeply grateful for days like these and the life we get to build here.

🌙 The last night of Ramadan with Iftar at the beautiful @anantaradowntowndubai @girl.and.the.goose. It feels like this month passed in the blink of an eye. The second half brought its challenges, but also something deeper. It brought us closer, more aware, more present.

It reminded us again of what truly matters. Quality time, family, the people around us and our health. How fortunate we are to live this life and to share both the big and the small moments together.

We took time to reflect on the past, to be present in the now and to look ahead to what we hope to build. Our dreams, our wishes and our hopes not only for ourselves, but for everyone around us.

Hopeful for peace and deeply grateful for all that already is.

A beach day in uncertain times.
Searching for seashells, building sand castles, long walks along the shore and letting the kids run freely under the sun. Small moments that help clear the mind and bring calm.

We are grateful for the incredible staff who made us feel so welcome and for the simple joy of being by the sea together.

Days like these remind us how powerful the little things can be. Sunshine, fresh air, laughter and family.

Sunshine and laughter with cousins one day, fog and rain the next. When the clouds roll in, we find blue skies on the other side of the mountain in the village. In between, project paddock is in full action with around twenty cubic meters of stones delivered. Let the fun begin.
