If the TikTok algorithm didn’t already greet you, please enjoy some of my favorite photos from my most recent time in Mexico—and speak to yourself with love on every slide 🌞

Affirmations name what already exists, while mantras invite what’s emerging. I view these as a bit of both, or in some cases a transition from one point to the next.

We know how important the words we say to ourselves are. I hope this inspires you to adopt these, or create others that feel true to you, and let them shape your reality. Through reading them consistently and writing them down often, this dialogue became second nature for me.

If we’re alike, and your default is to process everything deeply, you don’t get to be careless about what you carry. Our inner dialogue is often repetitive, and when left unchecked, it can quietly impact our emotional hygiene.

So, speak kindly and allow yourself to dream. Most of the time, it’s us standing in our own way. You want what you want because future you already has it 🫰🏼

In April, I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Mexico again with @allymaz. This time, in the role of visual storyteller through content creation for @ladyvanaretreats aaand right-hand girly✨

Typically, my process is to capture everything on my iPhone, and I love it that way. As I mention on my website, it blends the genuine ease of candid moments with flow and a refined artistic touch.. and your feedback tells me you feeeeel that!!

As a university graduation gift, my Dad bought me a “fancy” camera. I have picked it up several times since, but never consistently enough to get comfortable toggling between the different elements of shooting in manual. So…
It has spent the majority of the last decade collecting dust. A DECADE.
I like to understand processes and wanted to learn all intricacies of this tiny computer.. and because I let it get so serious, I didn’t explore.
No exploring=no art.
Very dusty behaviour.

I also almost didn’t bring my camera in April, but the same intuitive nudge (when I listen to it) that has guided me down every other beautiful path, told me to play. So I did.
These images are straight from the camera. Shot in manual. No presets, just five days of playing and a transfer from one device to the next, and now on to you.

I am a woman of passion (and energy and footwork, of course) so I speak and think about this ad nauseam, but taking leaps of any kind, dipping your toes into interests and curiosities, artistic ventures; even when you’re not yet “doing anything” with them, is life-giving and absolutely necessary.

To freely express the layers of who you are is an act of love and it is proactive healthcare.

Alas, some of my favourites from @clubpatos 🦆 bits of nature, beautiful spaces, and beautiful people through my lens.

The Countdown to Kasa of Merriment ✨
A collaborative holiday presentation by Kasa Vida Shoppe, Ma Chérie Floral Design, Celine’s Art, and Ojoie.

Saturday the 13th, we’ll be opening the doors to an elevated, design-focused experience featuring @kasavidashoppe’s newest pieces, the first collection of paintings, created for Kasa Vida by local Artist, Celine Brossart (@celinesart), sculptural slow-made jewelry from @ojoieforjoy, and floral arrangements from @macheriefloraldesign created exclusively for the event.

The evening includes considered bites and wine, creating a seamless and inspiring atmosphere to move through and explore.

The deliberate restraint of each band creates a sense of containment, as though time itself has been set aside, unspilled, preserved. The open upper space breathes possibility, while the lower field roots the piece in the inevitability of time passing. Together, they hold a tension between what has been and what is yet to come, with the middle strip reminding us that in every moment, we stand at that threshold.

Unspilled Hours becomes a meditation on time; on the space between action and inaction, fullness and emptiness, the already and the not-yet. It invites stillness, suggesting that time is not a race to spend, but something we can hold, preserve, and let be.
