I didn’t post a “tribute” to my Dad in November ‘22 when he died - only his obituary for informational purposes. I’m not a big social media fan and a pretty private person in general, and my personal view is that his life deserved way more than a mere mention on Facebook. However, Leo would’ve been 83 today. It is an unexpectedly tough day for me today, but I sit here so damn thankful for his influence on my life. Was he perfect? No. Was he the perfect Dad for me? 💯 I was lucky enough to have had the opportunity to get to know my Dad on more levels than most kids will ever know their parent. He was my father, boss, mentor, business partner, and best friend. We witnessed each other’s successes, failures, & struggles / highs and lows and kept loving each other in spite of who we were to the best of our abilities. I watched him help so many people that most would thumb their nose toward. I learned how to work hard and smart and realize an opportunity. And, how to be a good steward of what you gain. I got to see what forgiveness, acceptance, compassion, empathy, encouragement, resolve, and sacrifice looked like. Especially thankful for his example of toughness! And ,WAY more. Anyway… Happy Birthday, Dad! Love and miss you and can’t wait to see again. And, thank you for everything!!! by @cellerbee21
