HOW DISTRACTED CAN I BECOME? - mixed media (2025) 23”x20”
The state of my brain lately, honestly. The whole wide world is too much.
This piece was made for the Black & Red show @redfloorgallery on 4/25/25 and will be on display alongside a whole mess of great local artists.

9 MOONS acrylic on cardboard (2024) 7ft. x 4ft.-x2
I made this piece to be displayed as a gateway to the desert. Full of life, divergence, and resilience in ways that have seemed impossible. When it rains, the desert opens up and blooms. The rain always comes. Eventually.
But for now 9 MOONS is in the safety of my dining room. As am I. Reminding myself it won’t always be like this. Queer people, transgender people have always existed and never been stamped out, and that the rain always comes. Eventually.

YOU DESERVE SOMEONE WHO LOVES YOU THE WAY YOU DESERVE TO BE LOVED. (2024) acrylic on cardboard. 10ft x 30in.

A phrase that keeps coming up for me the past couple years. A hard thing to be told. A beautiful thing to hear. A complicated lesson to embrace. A claymore of a phrase.

I took this one down to Tucson for the day, where the sky is somehow even bigger than in Phoenix, and found a few nice spots to let the clouds spread out.
