My set design art direction for Z Generation first collection at galerie @auroi_paris Conceived and sketched a little less than three months ago, this scenography aims to evoke a divine, generous, and otherworldly environment almost extraterrestrial. It draws inspiration from Jheronimus Bosch, The Garden of Earthly Delights, John Everett Millais’s Ophelia, and Guillermo del Toro’s film Pan’s Labyrinth, for their mysterious, mist-laden atmospheres and the constant tension between warmth and coldness. iMom, 愛(ai)Baby (2025) short movie part 2 - (Contra) Per-𝑓ormare Invited by @magazineantidote / @antidoteparty__ 02.10 — Movida Club Paris during FW Master thesis research « (Contra) Per-𝑓ormare », the human body becomes the site of a hybridization between the digital tool and the repetitive action, mimicking work, play or the creation of content. How can the figure of the user-performer, placed in a position of submission to digital devices, reveal the sadomasochistic dynamic that underpins our everyday relationship with technology, between control mechanisms, and the production of value for capitalist platforms ? The user, or in this case the performer, is immersed in digital furniture, a technological ex-growth that anchors itself in his or her body, making it an appendage of the system. This furniture becomes an interface of power, a tangible simulation of the domination exerted by the platforms. The performer is in a position of discomfort, forced into an absurd hyper-productivity, an endless digital performance. This constrained body symbolises voluntary submission, the paradoxical pleasure of obedience. It’s an incarnation of what Michel Foucault identified as the link between power and pleasure, reformulated here in a techno-capitalist context. The user takes pleasure in conforming, in producing, in exposing themselves while being exploited, monitored, calibrated. Set design & Stage design for Judassime Spring / Summer 2026 — “Lost Highway” (@judassime) At @u122ae_club For Lost in the Highway, I created a nocturnal Cabinet of Curiosities : a space between laboratory and battlefield, where creatures of the night confront their own demons. The installation features four 2-meter-tall articulated mirror arms in stainless steel, a pair of siamese articulated mirror arms on a brushed aluminum rolling cart, and at the center, a glass box paludarium with natural branches, colored water, and a fog machine. At the heart of the stage lies « les (Bonnes) Mines » Project - I designed and crafted 18 custom sculpted mirror mines with the help of @cclalr3 , scattered across the floor. Each mine embodies the dark zones within ourselves wounds, sins, obsessions. You try to avoid them, but inevitably step on one, triggering your own transformation. Performers drift through fog and flickering neon lights among ruins, fragile yet powerful, until madness erupts: mirrors shatter, light explodes, beauty fractures. It is the calm before the storm, a journey from fragility to strength, from chaos to rebirth. Amid smoke, shattered glass, leather, and silk, the space becomes a landscape of survival, desire, and metamorphosis, where pain turns to romance, ruin to beauty, darkness to light. In Helio Chen’s field of vision, no object remains neutral. A lamp, a phone, a chair, a medical accessory, an element of domestic technology - everything slips from function into a state of exposure. The moment an object enters his hands or simply appears within the bodily frame, it becomes a readymade charged with intimacy. Design objects of the 2010s, with their smooth plastics, rounded forms, and promises of comfort, lose their innocence in his hands. They begin to resemble sex toys without a declared purpose - too clean, too ergonomic, too oriented toward touch. This is a design language that already knows the body in advance and works with it, even while pretending to remain neutral. Helio Chen exposes the hidden truth of contemporary design: its latent sexuality, masked as care, convenience, and technological efficiency. By bringing objects closer to the body, he reveals their concealed choreography - how technologies train posture, how furniture dictates positions, how gadgets teach where and how to touch. The child becomes an image, a projection, a cellular and technological extension of the mother. The title plays on the ambiguity between 「愛」 (ai) — love — and A.I., artificial intelligence: “I, mother, love my child.” / “A mother loving an artificial intelligence.” A tender yet critical vision of contemporary motherhood — hyperconnected, digital, and mediated through screens. “The mother no longer awaits a child, but a package; every notification becomes an ultrasound, every delivery a birth. The womb merges with the shopping cart.” The performance is conceived as an autonomous scene : a continuous, self-contained action. Overstimmed iMoms (2025) Performance for the very first print launch of Edgeline Magazine, @edgelinemag « Existential crisis » Overstimmed iMoms (2025) focuses on the shifting figure of motherhood in the age of digital globalization, where technology, consumerism and identity constantly merge. The work expands on the archetype of the new model, version of a mother today : efficient, performative, hyper-connected, a woman who measures her love and value through control, productivity and consumption. Alongside the Stroller Mom, exemplary and control-obsessed, meticulously selecting the perfect reborn baby that mirrors her own image, and the Pro-Active Mom, the working girl-boss for whom performance is not optional but vital—as if stopping meant disappearance—She doesn’t even stop when she puts on her mask; she scrolls, notifications and ringtones are like a sound beat. This new iteration introduces two additional, short-circuited figures: Coupon Mom and Play-Mom. Coupon Mom, embodies a form of domestic consumerist devotion. Reclined, connected, absorbed by her iPad, she finds comfort in ergonomic cushions, online shopping and promotional codes. Her pleasure is measured in discounts and loyalty points. She wins on digital “wheels of fortune” on Shein and Temu, the queen of algorithmic comfort. Play-Mom, represents mobility and impulsive pleasure. She smokes her puff, watches corn, goes live on TikTok. She consumes, performs and enjoys herself in a constant stream. Connection becomes play; the screen becomes her stage. She is reborn in the loop, every “live” a new youth, every post a pulse of freedom. GSM Project (I,II,III,IV) & V 2023-2026 Collaboration with @nymphorchidea A look back at the collectives that have enabled us to perform over the past three years @rottenbln Paris @s3x.a.pill_paris Paris @wraithclub x SXSW London @forens.x invites @gegenberlin Paris @forens.x Paris CGI/3D modeling researches Soundtrack out on my soundcloud GSM is an interactive installation and live sound performance exploring the relationship between the body, surveillance technologies, and systems of control. Using motion tracking and environmental data capture, the project transforms the performer’s gestures into sound through a modified theremin. The body becomes both an interface and a source of data, continuously analyzed and translated by the machine in real time. The interaction is built around a constant tension between human behavior and technological response. The performer adapts to the system while simultaneously being guided and constrained by it, creating a feedback loop between control, performance, and submission. Inspired by Gilles Deleuze’s interpretation of masochism, GSM approaches the digital user as an individual who voluntarily engages with systems that monitor, direct, and influence behavior. The project questions how contemporary technologies shape our gestures, attention, and perception while giving the illusion of autonomy and control.
