CEL RAYZER is out everywhere TODAY! The record we have been working toward and pining over for years has been birthed out into the world on @explodinginsound ! She’s gorgeous, we couldn’t be happier, the whole family is through the moon, SO TONIGHT WE PLAY in celebration @emptybottle with the famous Negative Scanner and the most exciting @fruitnlooops with DJ assistance from @bricabracrecords the best store in town. SEE YOU TONIGHT!!! But don’t forget to listen to the record in your rotation forever.

“Cel Rayzer” is a real labor of love over the course of 2 years !! It’s our first full length release, was our first time recording in a studio, etc.
Josh, Watson, and Kevin recorded the music back on June 27, 2024 @jamdek_recording the day after they met my parents at a Fallen Log show, seen here slide 6 (my parents identities protected here to shelter them from stardom).
I didn’t record vocals until January 2025 with @d0uglassssss who was so helpful… he made me understand that “Toxic” is actually a polka number and put up with my stupid antics.
Didn’t record the vocals again until 6 months later.
Doug mixed it.
Mikey Young mastered it, a man I have only ever heard good things about.
Our pal, and Chicago art king @maxedwardmorris made this incredible cover we all think belongs in a museum.
Our pal @decomposednecromancer , who we met through shows and is also a fashion designer, drew the center label and flier.
My pal @msgianni , a most talented angel, took these photos and understood our vision and the boys’ personalities even though we had never had our picture taken before.
My old friend @katelyndouglass agreed to make a video for us with her husband @drew__angle and it was a dream come true and made the album come to life.
Our penpal @paintingwithdan has done literally all the heavy lifting of getting this record actually made and put out into the world through his label @explodinginsound , they have been very kind to us.

WE ARE ETERNALLY GRATEFUL to all these parties involved. And to everyone who has supported us through the years by coming to shows or listening to us THANK YOU

Art rules. Fuck ICE. Fuck AI. Free Palestine. Cel Rayzer.

A FIVE BAND BILL FOR THE AGES! Next show is not to be missed, u can already tell a month out it’s going to be absolutely nasty as hell. CHERRY CHEEKS, everyone’s favorite band to listen to, is coming our way from Portland and we want to prove to them that the Midwest is best. ACTION FIGURE is a hardcore band from Ft. Collins, Colorado whose demo rocks so hard they also had to leave the mountainous regions to share it with us. BUNJEE JUMPERS are the best band of friends and talented young geniuses from right here. ASKO are real hardcore scronchmongers and we have been thinking about them since we played together last year last minute. ITS GOING TO BE A CRAZY SHOW at The Compound, for only $10, on September 19, 2026 …. Dm for addy and do not miss or you will forever regret it, going to be a real backyard ass party in the dog days of summer with some real big dogs…
Flier by our very own @kingchippo
Alternate flier is one me Maddie made for a show in Denton, Texas that was originally 5 bands BUT then a SIXTH band got added so we never used it, SO now anytime we play with 5 bands I must call upon it like copy pasta.

PHILLY’S own Real Shocks are coming to Chicago 6/11 and Ralph has booked a house show barn burner feat. us, Navaja, and Sociedad Salvaje …. Once, on 9/11/2024, Brian aka @imagescorner of Real Shocks was a very good host to us when we came thru Philadelphia. He showed us where to secretly park our van, he let us eat pizza and have screen time with his lovely parents, his dad put us on his eyebrows only Instagram, he hung out with us in the backyard of Yarga, and he took us to a top tier diner in the morning like a gentleman. It was a great time, as evidenced here, SO we are hoping to return the favor... Also, at one time Brian, Ralph, Matt and me(Maddie) were in the best band ever called Tums, so this will be an almost full reunion not unlike the last picture seen here. THURSDAY 6/11 at La Casa del Migrante 3 .. go to Ralph’s website http://Chicago.askapunk.net for the address ! by @celraychi
