Great trip to the Mackenzie Country last week spent a few days in tekapo, managed to get out a couple of times when the weather played ball, best fish of the trip was this 20lb beauty 🎣🐷🔥

The feeling of getting these big trout on the end of your rod is unreal, one of only a handful of places in New Zealand you can hook these monsters! Off to live another day 🎣 -Central.Anglers

This buttery brown trout was really aggressive chasing down the @oceanangler @zmanfishingproducts SlimSwimZ 3-inch Slam Shady all the way to the bank. The SlimSwimZ with its natural, lifelike swimming action is known for triggering strikes from predatory fish like brown trout and many more species.

The browns are in wicked colours at the moment, this one taking a liking to the @oceanangler @zmanfishingproducts 2.5 inch watermelon red, matched with the @ttfishing_aus 1/8th jighead, attached wicked size jighead for all purpose.

Epic day on Easter monday shot up for the day. The fishing was pretty tough going but managed to land this 19lb rainbow. Worth the trip with @thetroutfiles 🤙 taken in Tekapo Canal by @central.anglers
