Today, we visited the Carmen Laffón exhibition with Artmunity, accompanied by the museum’s director, Paula Luengo.

Repetition and variation of the same motif.
Simplicity of form.
Light and atmosphere.

One of the most distinctive Spanish artists of the second half of the twentieth century, Carmen Laffón (1934–2021) developed a deeply personal visual language rooted in landscape, light and the everyday.

Many thanks to @museothyssen and Artmunity for making it such a warm experience.

During our time in San Sebastián, we visited Sally Mann’s brilliant exhibition at Tabakalera.

Considered one of the most important contemporary American photographers, Mann has developed a deeply personal and evocative body of work exploring memory, family, identity and the passage of time.

We share some of the images from the series that made the greatest impression on us.
