Steve Brast and his family have been supplying eggs to the Central City Co-Op for more than 15 years.
Their eggs come from pastured, roaming chickens which means healthier birds and more nutritious eggs.

Working with small family farms means that we can control our supply chain and we can trust the people that grow our food.

This is how I used my @centralcitycoop farm share sweet potato greens! @geeceezgrill I know you were wondering what I would do. So I did this in 3 main steps. I cooked the brown rice in my instant pot. I used my tofu press (love it so much) on extra firm tofu, cut in cubes and tossed in a mixture of 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 tablespoon coconut aminos, 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger and 1 teaspoon dry powdered mustard, then pan sautéed in olive oil for 5 minutes per side. For the greens I cut a head of broccoli into small florets and microwaved in a covered dish with a little water for 5 minutes, then added ribbon cut sweet potato greens and a bunch of sliced green onions. In the wok I heated some olive oil, sautéed some garlic and julienne fresh ginger, then added the greens while the tofu cooked. The sauce was 1 tsp cornstarch, 2 tsp apple cider vinegar, 2 tsp sherry, 1/2 tsp sesame oil and 1 tablespoon tamari. Add in the tofu and sauce and stir to combine. FOTW: Muscadine Grapes from Tupa Farms (Pamona) in Coldspring, TX.

These are the only grapes native to the southern United States. They have thick skin, bitter seeds, but a wonderful sweet and sour flavor!
