⭐️ New here? Let’s get to know each other! ⭐️

Meet the face behind the group! 🐶

I’ve had a lot of new followers lately, so I figured a reintroduction might be needed!

Welcome to Central FL Dog Moms – the ultimate community for pup-loving mamas (and dog dads who want in on the fun too)!

I’m Angie – proud doodle mom to Obi and Endor, small business owner, and your go-to gal for all things dog friendly around Central Florida. I’m 24 and originally from South Florida. I moved to Orlando almost 3 years ago, and a few months in, we got a new puppy. I ended up creating an Instagram for him to try and find other local dogs to connect with.

That’s when the idea for this group started! I wanted to make real connections, find friends, and create a space where other dog parents could do the same, all while hanging out and having fun with their pups.

I’m the solo host, admin, and founder of the group, which means I plan all the events, design the flyers, write the posts, and handle everything behind the scenes to keep things running (and yes, it can definitely be a lot sometimes!).

I host monthly dog friendly events, from themed meetups and local markets to fun outings where you and your furry bestie can socialize, sip, and sniff your way through town. Whether you’re a long time local or just moved here with your pup, I hope you find your pack with us!

Stick around for upcoming events, dog friendly recommendations, & welcome to the CFLDM community! I’m so glad you’re here!

Tag your dog mom bestie and come wag with us!

✨My personal IG is @itsangie.garcia and I post about Orlando food, dog friendly things in the area, and also lifestyle & shopping finds! Definitely give me a follow if you’d like!

🇺🇸🎆 Happy 4th of July, Central Florida! 🎆🇺🇸

As celebrations begin across Central Florida today, let’s not forget about our four legged family members. Loud fireworks, unfamiliar sounds, and extra guests can be stressful for many pets, so taking a few simple precautions can make all the difference. ❤️🐾

✨ Fourth of July Pet Safety Checklist:
✔️ Keep pets indoors before the fireworks begin.
✔️ Double check collars and ID tags.
✔️ Make sure your pet’s microchip information is up to date.
✔️ Create a quiet, cozy space where they can relax.
✔️ Turn on the TV, music, or a fan to help soften outside noise.
✔️ Keep human food, table scraps, and fireworks out of reach.

If your pup wears a GPS collar, don’t forget to charge it before the festivities begin so you’re ready just in case.

Wishing you and your furry family a safe, calm, and happy Fourth of July! ❤️🤍💙

Share this with a fellow pet parent to help keep more pets safe tonight. 🐶✨
