What incredible representation for our community. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ (So many icons in one film, y’all know who you are!) @centralvalley_pride is an LGBTQIA+ non-profit organization right in the heart of Merced. 📍 All year long, they provide support and resources for LGBTQIA+ of all ages (and our allies) ! 🫂 Additionally, they do a phenomenal job of hosting our Merced Pride weekend celebrations every year - such as the Merced Queer Film Fest, 21+ drag shows, a poppin street festival and more. 🪩 I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to perform downtown again this year!! It’s hard enough to plan community events, let alone multiple over the course of days! Thank you all for being a lighthouse for all ages. You create memories that last a lifetime. Next, I’d like to congratulate @adamlincolnlane @domilishious and many more on bringing this film to @valleypbs @youtube and @tower_theatre !!! 🎬 This is truly a time capsule that nobody can take away from us. Let’s be perfectly honest here. Our Central Valley PRIDEfest 2026 performers WERE THE SHIT. There’s really no other way to say it. They clocked in and held it down at the HEART of the festival. Happy Bisexual Awareness Week! 💗💜💙 This week is about more than visibility—it’s about making sure bisexual people are seen, respected, believed, celebrated, and supported exactly as they are. Too often, bisexual people face erasure, stereotypes, assumptions, and pressure to “prove” their identity based on who they’re dating or loving. But bisexuality does not become more or less valid because of someone’s relationship, appearance, history, or how openly they choose to live. Every bisexual person deserves the freedom to define their own identity, tell their own story, and move through the world without having to explain or defend who they are. At Central Valley Pride, we believe advocacy means creating communities where people don’t simply feel tolerated—they feel valued, protected, connected, and proud. During #BIWEEK, we’re celebrating the beautiful diversity of bisexual experiences while continuing to challenge the stigma and erasure that still exist. To every bisexual person in our community: your identity is real. Your story matters. Your joy matters.
