Centre Football mourns the loss of our brother Steven Sims. Steve was a true servant leader to his teammates and an instrumental member of the 2014 undefeated conference championship team. Steven was a leader for the squad’s first undefeated regular season since 1955. Steve will always be remembered and appreciated for his work ethic, intelligence, strength, relentless effort, and most of all the strong relationships he fostered with his contagiously amiable attitude. Steve brought out the best in those around him and that legacy will be continuously honored and celebrated by his Centre Football Family. May the Lord grant eternal rest unto his soul and may perpetual light shine upon him.
We love you Steve.
