What an incredible honor! 🎉 Last week, the International Entertainment Partnership (IEP) was presented with a proclamation from the City of Houston, marking a milestone in our journey to expand the entertainment industry and drive economic development for our diverse communities. As the Founder, Chairwoman, and President of the organization, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported us and made this achievement possible. This interview came at one of the most tender times in my life. I was spending the last few weeks with my 97 year old grandmother before she transitioned in early January. It seemed like all of the things I had attempted to do thus far paled in the wake of the 10 losses of life in the 12months preceeding.

It is moments like these when I am most grateful for the journey and the village that continues to shape it. While I cannot list them all, shout out to a few of the featured village in the video: My mother, Council Member Edward Pollard, Council Member Joaquin Martinez, Samuel Watkins, @Blanca Beltran, Jalene Mack, Adonis Alexander, Bryan Lopez, Brent Law, IEP models, Dream Con, Elesa LeCompte, Camila Carvajal, Elva Trevino, Jasmine Jones, The entire IEP/ HEI, and CGM family.

This feature reflects years of building with intention, leading with purpose, and believing in the power of media to open doors, amplify unsung voices, and create lasting impact. Every chapter reinforces the responsibility we all have to serve, to tell stories that matter, and to keep pushing forward for the communities connected to this work. The @iepgreaterhou and Houston Entertainment Initiative were born out of this passion. While CReed Global Media no longer has a physical studio, we champion Houston studios and creatives in collaboration through the IEP.
